This position is located in our office in Sanford, FL.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nEstimating and lead estimating group on design phase cost estimates\nAbility to read drawings, geo-tech reports and specifications.\nIdentify Utility conflicts and Bypass areas.\nPerform quantity take-off of Pipe & Appurtenances/Concrete/Sitework, requiring quantity counts, linear quantity measurement.\nAbility to formulate a unit price as needed.\nSolicit Subcontractor/Supplier participation via phone and/or E-mail.\nWrite RFI’s to Engineers.\nProficient in scope analysis, ability to estimate deficiencies as needed.\nProject RFQ and RFP development\nEstablish project database for proposals\nCreate construction schedule for estimates in P6\nCoordinate and establish the project budget (GMP)\nProjects ranging from 4 Million to 120 Million, Hard Deadlines, and must be able to multi-task efficiently.\nDeveloping and maintaining long term beneficial relationships with key vendors and subcontractors.\nParticipate in pre and post construction review.\nPreferences/Qualifications:\n5-10 years estimating or field experience.
