recommend new services as needed.\nContribute to the development of long-term objectives and strategic plans for the Charlotte region. \nResearch and identify new markets; travel to vendor sites, distribution centers, and other relevant locations. \nIdentify and coordinate sponsorship opportunities, including nonprofit engagements. \nConduct webinars and presentations to elevate brand and product visibility. \nLead the preparation and submission of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from potential partners and clients.\nRepresent Wharton-Smith as an ambassador by actively participating in local, state, and national water organizations, and attend relevant conferences and industry events.\nQualifications: \nBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, Engineering, or a related field required. \nEquivalent combinations of education and relevant experience may be considered. \nContinued professional development in estimating, collaborative delivery methods, and project controls is encouraged. \n7+ years of experience in municipal Water/Wastewater construction or design. \nPrior experience as a Project Manager on municipal Water/Wastewater projects. \nExperience developing or supporting GMP pricing. \nDemonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with owners, engineers, and operations teams. \nStrong understanding of municipal Water/Wastewater construction practices. \nExperience with CMAR, Progressive Design-Build, or other collaborative delivery models.\nAbility to identify scope gaps and cost exposures. \nProficiency with scheduling software (P6 preferred) and cost management systems. \nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nEqual Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disability\nWharton-Smith provides equal opportunity to qualified disabled veterans, Pre-JVA special disabled veterans and individuals with disabilities to online application systems by making reasonable accommodation to ensure equal access for submitting to job openings.
