The successful candidate will be responsible for successful completion of tasks as assigned by the Senior Scheduling Manager.\nResponsibilities:\nLead in the development of detailed baseline schedules in collaboration with project management and field teams.\nProvide oversight and direction to project teams on schedule development, updates, and recovery strategies. \nAble to perform in-depth reviews and critiques of project schedules for logic, float path, and overall health. \nAble to generate executive-level schedule reports, presentations, and forecasts for internal and external stakeholders.\nAble to conduct forensic schedule analysis, including time impact analysis and delay claims. \nAble to facilitate schedule risk assessments during preconstruction and at key project milestones.\nAssist/Lead in developing, implementing and maintaining scheduling best practices, procedures, and tools across the organization. \nAble to coordinate with Estimating, Operations, and Executive teams to support pursuit schedules and resource planning.\nTechnical Skills:\nKnowledge of P6 or MSP and its application to complex construction projects. \nKnowledge of planning and scheduling principles and the Project Life Cycle.\nIn-depth understanding of construction means, methods, sequences, and resource management.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field or 4 years of working on large construction projects.\nMS Office product knowledge and work management systems.\nExcellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills. \nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and deadlines.\n\nEqual Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disability\nWharton-Smith provides equal opportunity to qualified disabled veterans, Pre-JVA special disabled veterans and individuals with disabilities to online application systems by making reasonable accommodation to ensure equal access for submitting to job openings.
