If you enjoy coordinating logistics, communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently, this is an opportunity to contribute to a growing business.\nJoin Wheco’s Procurement team and help coordinate inbound logistics, maintain accurate procurement records, and ensure the timely delivery of goods.\nKey Responsibilities:\nCoordinate inbound logistics activities to support the efficient movement of imported goods\nMonitor shipment progress and follow up with relevant stakeholders to ensure ontime deliveries to distribution centres\nLiaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal departments to resolve queries and minimise delays\nMaintain accurate procurement, supplier, and shipment documentation\nRequest and review cost estimates to support procurement activities\nEnsure procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, and operational requirements\nIdentify and follow up on outstanding tasks, discrepancies, and potential delays\nProvide administrative and operational support to maintain efficient procurement workflows\nSkills and Requirements:\nStrong analytical and numerical skills\nHigh attention to detail and accuracy\nExcellent organisational and time-management skills\nAbility to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines\nConfident decision-making within defined authority levels\nClear and professional written and verbal communication skills\nStrong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities\nProactive approach to problem-solving\nMinimum Requirements:\nGrade 12\n2-3 years’ experience in logistics, procurement, or supply chain support\nProficiency in MS Excel\nExperience working with ERP systems advantageous\nKnowledge of freight documentation, shipment tracking, lead times, and logistics processes\nA qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Procurement, or Business Administration advantageous\nHelp keep our procurement operations running smoothly and ensure goods reach our distribution centres on time.
