As a technician, you’ll work directly with customers in the field, ensuring their equipment meets high operational standards and is running at peak performance.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nAdhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working on site to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. \nDiagnose and resolve complex technical issues with advanced machinery or systems, including mechanical, electrical, and software-related problems.\nPerform installation, maintenance, and repair of sophisticated equipment, ensuring all work is completed to industry standards and company specifications.\nServe as the primary technical point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction through effective communication and problem resolution.\nUtilize deep technical knowledge and experience to handle high-level technical challenges and provide solutions for system optimization and performance improvements.\nMaintain detailed records of service activities, including troubleshooting steps, repairs made, and parts used. Generate reports and provide feedback to management and engineering teams.\nTrain and mentor junior technicians and clients on equipment operation, maintenance practices, and troubleshooting techniques\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nClass A CDL License strongly preferred\nMSHA certified \nMinimum of 5 years of experience in field service working on CAT or Non-CAT Heavy Equipment or a related technical role, with a strong background in troubleshooting and repairing advanced systems and equipment\nProficiency with Caterpillar service programs\nPossess needed tools includes ¾” drive\nConsistently arrive at work as scheduled, ensuring prompt attendance to maintain service efficiency and reliability\nDemonstrate respect for the rights and equipment of other workers, customers, and the company, always maintaining a professional and considerate attitude.\nApproach each task with a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail, ensuring all work meets or exceeds quality standards.\nArrive at work in a fit state, both physically and mentally, ready to perform duties safely and effectively.\nMaintain clear and ongoing communication with customers to keep them informed of progress, address any concerns, and ensure satisfaction with the service provided.\nSubmit accurate timecards and Department of Transportation (DOT) logs as required, ensuring compliance with reporting standards and regulations.\nDiagnose and resolve complex technical issues with advanced machinery or systems, including mechanical, electrical, and software-related problems.\nFlexibility in Work Hours and Days: Adapt to varying work hours and days based on client needs and service requirements, which may include evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts.\nAbility and willingness to work closely with customers and a team\nSelf-motivated and able to always work safely with limited supervision \nWorking Conditions\nTravel Requirements: Required to travel to client sites, potentially including overnight stays or extended hours.\nWork Environment: Work may be performed in various environments, including industrial settings and confined spaces.\nPPE Requirements: Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as required.\nEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities.
