These are full-time positions with benefits. Rental Technician 1 is responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on a variety of Caterpillar equipment and other dealer-supported equipment. Candidates must maintain a safety-first mindset in all tasks and consistently utilize TRACK/Tyfoom systems to support safe and efficient operations.\nDetailed Description:\nDuties & Responsibilities:\nShip/Receive, Wash, Quick Turn, Minor Repairs, Perform Maintenance on all Rental Fleet; Basic Machine Repairs and Diagnostics.\nMust understand and adhere to the personal responsibility of safety and work safely always. Adhere to all company safety programs and policies.\nAbility to work as a team, communicate effectively, and take ownership of assigned tasks.\nTroubleshooting of heavy equipment for minor to major repairs.\nPerform general maintenance & lube services on equipment.\nMust be willing to have a flexible work shift, work extended hours, or possible weekends as workload requires.\nWilling to receive on-the-job training and direction even as a Shop Service Technician.\nWilling to complete all job tasks as required by your team leader, supervisor, and management.\nRequirement Qualifications:\nMust utilize TRACK and work safely at all times.\nMust have excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to navigate through electrical and hydraulic schematics.\nProfessional, positive attitude and appearance.\nSelf-starter with lots of ambition.\nPositive, open-minded attitude and understanding that optimism is a requirement to be on this team.\nWilling to promote a teamwork atmosphere, working closely with all departments throughout the company.\nCan work in a high-pressure environment and maintain a professional attitude.\nExcellent mechanical skills with prior experience.\nAbility to write accurate and detailed service reports on time.\nUnderstand the urgency of our industry and the needs of our customers in getting their equipment back up and running as quickly as possible.\nExcellent organization and communication skills.\nWilling to attend various training classes to expand your knowledge.\nMust have dealership experience/work history on heavy equipment repair.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience working on all different makes of equipment, such as Caterpillar, JLG, Genie, Broce, Multiquip, Husqvarna etc.\nGood computer skills to include Microsoft Office, Cat ET & SIS, and other related software platforms.\n__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________\nEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities\nThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
