Depending on assignment, an Assembler will work primarily in either:\n(1) Wheels Component Assembly, or\n(2) Mirrors & Bells Assembly and Packaging.\nAll Assemblers are responsible for meeting quality standards, maintaining accurate inventory processes, supporting a clean and safe work environment, and contributing to efficient workflow across the production floor.\nPRIMARY WORKSTREAM ASSIGNMENTS\nWorkstream A: Wheels Component Assembly\nAssemblers in this track focus on small mechanical components and CNC-machined parts.\nKey Responsibilities\nAssemble small CNC-machined parts (e.g., bottom brackets, tool kits).\nPackage and label finished products for retail.\nMaintain inventory levels and verify component quantities.\nConduct quality checks related to fit, finish, color accuracy, and functional integrity.\nOperate basic assembly equipment such as product baggers, bearing presses, or laser engravers.\nSupport shop organization, cleanliness, and safety.\nPerform additional tasks as assigned to support Wheels Mfg production needs.\nWorkstream B: Mirrors & Bells Assembly and Packaging\nAssemblers in this track focus on consumer accessory products, including mirrors and bells.\nKey Responsibilities\nAssemble mirror components, including preparing parts, gluing assemblies, inserting hardware, and staging components for drying.\nOperate basic machinery such as insertion/sorting machines, bagging equipment, or torque-controlled screwdrivers.\nAssemble and package finished mirror and bell products into display boxes, shelf boxes, and shipping cartons.\nEnsure accurate labeling, UPC assignment, and correct product identification for inventory and shipping.\nMaintain component staging areas and support inventory accuracy by date-stamping and documenting materials.\nPerform cross-trained tasks across multiple accessories as business needs require.\nSupport general factory organization, cleanliness, and safety.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nRequired\nAbility to read and comprehend assembly instructions and Bills of Materials (BOMs)\nBasic math and computer skills\nAbility to work with hand tools and small components\nExcellent attention to detail with emphasis on quality and labeling accuracy\nPreferred\nHigh School diploma or GED preferred\n1-2 years of assembly, manufacturing, or packaging experience\nExperience with light machinery (baggers, insertion machines, torque drivers, laser engravers)\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nLift up to 50 lbs occasionally; team lift up to 75 lbs\nAbility to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift\nFrequent use of hands and fingers for small-part manipulation\nAbility to lift 20 lbs overhead occasionally\nOccasional work in varied indoor/outdoor conditions\nAbility to use a computer occasionally\nCORE VALUES\nInnovation - We are creators and makers that encourage and nurture novel thinking.
