Regardless of how, when or where you want to fly, our mission is simple; deliver a premium, personalized aviation experience for every customer.\nRole Overview: What You’ll Be Doing\nThe HR Compliance Manager will be responsible for maintaining and updated the Human Resources (HR) policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.\nThis person will be required to work at least 4 days in-office at our Member Operations Center (MOC), located in Chamblee, GA.\nResponsibilities\nYour Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions)\nPartners with leadership and internal stakeholders to develop, implement, and revise HR policies and procedures that align with industry best practices and legal requirements.\nAdvises on the development and updating or HR policies and procedures to align with current laws and industry standards.\nConducts research on federal and state employment laws, regulations, and legislative changes impacting HR practices.\nCollaborates with legal counsel to ensure all HR policies and procedures are legally sound and meet company needs.\nDevelops and implements a regular review and update cycle for HR policies and procedures.\nMaintains a comprehensive library of HR policies and procedures readily accessible to employees and managers.\nServes as the central point of contact for HR policy-related questions from employees and managers, providing clear and concise guidance.\nInitiates and manage compliance-focused projects to mitigate risk and ensure adherence to legal regulations.\nMonitors and research emerging HR trends, legal developments and best practices to ensure the organization is competitive and compliant.\nMaintain HR policies and keep them updated.\nPartner or lead on Employee Relations and Investigations.\nManage work authorization, immigration and work visa process.\nPartner with Wheels Up's internal, as well as outside, legal counsel.\nPerforms other duties and responsibilities as assigned.\nQualifications\nWhat You Bring to the Table: Education & Certification Requirements\nWe’re looking for someone who has a unique mix of experience, skills, and passion for what we do:\nBachelor’s degree in Human Resources management, Business Administration, or a related field\nMinimum five years of experience in HR compliance or a related field.\nThe Extras We Value (Preferred Requirements)\nJD preferred.\nStrong understanding of federal and state employment laws (FLSA, ADA, FMLA, etc.).\nProven ability to research, analyze, and interpret complex legal and regulatory information.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear and understandable language for diverse audiences.\nExperience developing and revising HR policies and procedures.\nStrong project management and organizational skills.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nProactive, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic\nWhat We Offer\nSalary Range & Benefits\nAt Wheels Up, we believe in fair compensation based on experience, skills, and qualifications. The yearly compensation for this role ranges from $117,000 to $137,000, depending on a variety of factors. We don’t typically start individuals at the top of the salary range; your place within the range is based on what you bring to the table.
