If the deadline is extended, we will update this job posting accordingly.\nRole Overview: What You’ll Be Doing\nAs a Maintenance Controller, you are responsible for ensuring that aircraft within the Wheels Up Private Jets operated fleet are maintained in compliance with all regulatory requirements. You are responsible for monitoring aircraft, initiating, and overseeing maintenance events to ensure aircraft are returned to service in a timely and effective manner. In an executive capacity, the Maintenance Controller supervises the maintenance and/or alteration of Wheels Up Private Jets operated aircraft.\nLocation: Chamblee, GA (North Atlanta, GA)\nThis role is on-site at Wheels Up's Member Operations Center (MOC)\nThis role is not offering a remote option\nRelocation is not being offered for this role\nResponsibilities\nYour Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions)\nAs the delegate of the aircraft certificate holder’s Director of Maintenance (DOM), you will execute certain designated functions of the DOM’s office. You are responsible for ensuring compliance with all company policies as outlined in the WUPJ operating manual.\nEnsure all out-of-service for maintenance aircraft are repaired in a timely manner. \nAssign maintenance personnel, including vendors, in the correct performance of aircraft repairs and overseeing repair efforts as well as maintaining communication on repair status. \nCreate work packages for scheduled, unscheduled, and Line Maintenance. \nCoordinate with maintenance vendors to plan, execute, oversee, and document maintenance events. \nEnsure all departments affected by a grounded aircraft are aware of the status of the aircraft. \nReview aircraft records and tracking to ensure compliance with maintenance programs. \nWork harmoniously with Maintenance Leadership, Flight Operations, maintenance vendors, and all operational entities and personnel. \nEnsure proper documentation of the work performed on aircraft prior to approval of the aircraft for return-to-service. \nEnsure required aircraft parts are obtained and shipped in a timely manner. \nQualifications\nWhat You Bring to the Table: Education & Certification Requirements\nWe’re looking for someone who has a unique mix of experience, skills, and passion for what we do:\nValid and current Airframe and Powerplant Certificate \nMinimum of 3 to 5 years' relevant hands-on experience in Part 121, 135/91 \nThe Extras We Value (Preferred Requirements)\nWhile not mandatory, here are some additional things that would make you stand out:\nFormal training (Flight Safety Maintenance initial) in Phenom 300, Challenger 300/350 preferred\n4+ years combined experience in inspection, maintenance or servicing of corporate type aircraft preferred\nDirect experience working on airframes like: Citation XL, Citation X, Beechcraft King Air, Hawker Beechcraft 400XP, Phenom 300, or Challenger 350 preferred\nAdvanced knowledge of inspection and maintenance procedures for the noted aircraft models and systems.\nPhysical Requirements\nWe want to make sure you’re fully equipped for success. The compensation for this role ranges from $87,000/Yr. to $102,000/Yr., depending on a variety of factors. We don’t typically start individuals at the top of the salary range; your place within the range is based on what you bring to the table.
