Regardless of how, when or where you want to fly, our mission is simple; deliver a premium, personalized aviation experience for every customer.\nReporting to the on-Duty Manager, Operations Controllers on shift performs all functions required to ensure a safe and punctual schedule is delivered across our customer Aurigny Air Services network, whilst meeting their expectations regarding reliability and punctuality.The Operations Controller works closely with other departments at the Aurigny HQ in Guernsey and at outstations to manage the flying programme within a three-day window. Under the supervision of the Duty Manager, they are responsible for monitoring, pre-empting, and reacting to disruption affecting day to day operations.\nThis role is based onsite in our Gatwick office allows for a healthy work life balance with shift patterns as follows:\n3 earlies 2 lates - 5 days off / 2 earlies, 2 lates - 5 days off / 2 earlies, 2 lates - 4 days off\nEarlies: 05:45 - 17:45\nLates: 10:00 - 22:00\nResponsibilities\nAccountabilities General responsibilities include, but not limited to:\nCrew rostering for all relevant flights.\nEnsuring the company FTL (Flight Time Limited) scheme is adhered to.\nMaintain a flight watch on all flights during the shift ensuring that all flights operate on-time.\nLiaise with all handling agents keeping them up to date with the daily schedule and any disruption that may occur.\nMonitor flight plans and slots for all airports on the network.\nProduce reports for the management team as required.\nInputting and updating spreadsheets relevant to flight safety.\nMonitor weather and NOTAM reports for all relevant destinations\nWorking in a fast-paced environment.\nManaging and maintaining high workload and service levels.\nQualifications\nWhat we are looking for\nCommercial awareness combined with interpersonal and communication skills.\nFlexibility towards working shift system (12-hour shift) that can change at short notice due to technical or weather issues.\nMust be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (including diaries and email.\nBe well organised and pro-active in approach to responsibilities with ability to work on own initiative and to specific deadlines being confident in making decisions.\nWorking/experience in an OCC role ideally with other airlines. \nDesirable Skills\nCrew Rostering experience.\nExtensive knowledge of PPS (Flight Planning) system.\nExtensive knowledge of NavBlue / N-OC system.\nIdeally possess at least 1 years’ experience within a commercial airline operations department.\nIdeally have working knowledge of UK CAA FTL’s. \nWhat We Offer\nWhat We Offer: Salary Range & Benefits\nAt Wheels Up, we believe in fair compensation based on experience, skills, and qualifications.\nThe basic salary for this role is £30,160 per annum.\nWe also offer a range of benefits designed to support your well-being and personal life, including:\nFree Parking\nDiscounted gym membership\nCycle to work scheme\nGenerous pension scheme\nPrivate Medical (option to add family at employee cost)\nDedicated EAP\nFlexible Annual Leave (option to purchase additional up to a company maximum)\nA variety of additional programs and services in support of your total well-being \nGDPR Information\nhttps://wheelsup.icims.com/icims2/servlet/icims2?module=AppInert&action=download&id=122821&hashed=-1488359858\nEveryone is welcome here\nAir Partner Cargo is committed to providing equal opportunities and promoting diversity in the workplace.
