If you take pride in your craft and want to help shape the next chapter of our growth, we'd love to hear from you.\nAbout The Role\nFollowing the successful launch of Wheely in New York, we're looking for an Operations Manager to join our team and play a key role in continuing to bring the service to market and scaling our presence.\nWorking closely with the General Manager, you will own day-to-day operational execution, with a focus on acquiring, retaining and ensuring quality among our best-in-class chauffeurs. You will help establish the local operating model, adapt global standards to the New York market, and ensure a consistently high-quality experience as the market scales.\nThis role requires an entrepreneurial mindset and strong execution. You will take initiative, make data-informed decisions, and operate effectively in a fast-moving environment. You will partner with both global and local teams, while building and scaling the local operations team, processes and operating rhythms.\nResponsibilities\nOwn day-to-day operational execution, including chauffeur supply growth, onboarding, training, retention and incentives.\nEstablish and evolve the local operating model, translating global strategy and standards into effective local execution.\nUse data to identify operational risks and opportunities, designing initiatives with clear, measurable impact.\nLead and develop the growing local operations team, creating a culture of high performance and engagement.\nWork closely with Product teams to influence feature development and improve operational tooling.\nOversee operational readiness and early market growth, ensuring consistent service quality and reliability.\nBuild strong relationships with chauffeurs and key external stakeholders, representing Wheely's standards and values.\nEnsure compliance with applicable local regulations and licensing requirements.\nRequirements\nThere is no single background that defines success in this role. We are looking for analytically strong, entrepreneurial operators who are motivated by ownership and comfortable being accountable for outcomes in complex, open-ended operating environments.\nStrong candidates typically bring 3+ years of experience building, launching or scaling something meaningful in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to move quickly from analysis to execution.\nRelevant experience may include:\nLaunching, growing or scaling operations in a fast-paced tech environment (VC-backed business, scale-up or other relevant startup experience).\nBackground in top-tier management consulting, investment banking or VC/PE.\nEarly employee or founding team experience at a consumer or marketplace startup.\nBonus points for:\nExperience in a marketplace or platform business, particularly in on-demand, mobility or location-based services.\nDemonstrated experience building teams, processes or operating models from the ground up or during periods of rapid expansion.\nExperience managing teams or leading operational initiatives.\nMBA or other advanced degree with a strong focus on business, operations, analytics or strategy.\nWhat We Offer\nBase salary
