The Jr. Cloud Administrator plays an important role in maintaining a secure, reliable, and high-performing technology environment while supporting the company's continued cloud and infrastructure evolution. This position helps ensure operational excellence, supports ongoing technology initiatives, and contributes to the team's ability to deliver stable and efficient IT services to the business.\nImportant Note: Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without the need for current or future employment visa sponsorship. We will NOT sponsor employment visas for this role now or in the future.\nSummary of Role:\nThe Jr. Cloud Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration and support of MMNA's cloud and infrastructure environment. This role assists with system monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, patching, identity and access management, and infrastructure support activities across cloud, server, virtualization, and Microsoft 365 platforms. Working closely with senior engineers and cross-functional IT teams, the Jr. Cloud Administrator helps resolve technical issues, support infrastructure projects, maintain accurate documentation, and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through standardization and automation.\nAs a Jr. Cloud Administrator, You Will:\nAdminister and support cloud, server, and virtualization environments to ensure system reliability, performance, and security.\nMonitor infrastructure health, investigate alerts, and troubleshoot system issues to minimize downtime and maintain service availability.\nPerform routine system administration activities, including server provisioning, patching, upgrades, configuration changes, and maintenance.\nSupport Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Group Policy, and identity and access management services.\nAssist with the administration of storage, backup, replication, and disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity.\nProvide Tier 2 support for infrastructure-related issues escalated from the IT Help Desk and partner with other IT teams to resolve complex technical problems.\nSupport cloud and infrastructure projects, including migrations, upgrades, system implementations, and modernization initiatives.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, system inventories, operational procedures, and support knowledge articles.\nIdentify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through process improvements, automation, and standardization.\nCollaborate with Network, Security, Applications, and other technology teams to support business objectives and deliver reliable IT services.\nOther job duties as assigned.\nMeasuring Your Momentum (Success Metrics):\nFirst 90 Days - Getting Up to Speed\nDevelop an understanding of MMNA's server, virtualization, cloud, identity, backup, monitoring, and support environments.\nLearn team standards, change processes, documentation practices, escalation paths, and security requirements.\nBecome proficient in routine Windows Server and virtual machine support, including common troubleshooting, patching, monitoring, and service requests.\nBegin resolving Tier 2 infrastructure tickets with guidance from senior team members and demonstrate sound escalation judgment.\nBuild working relationships with Infrastructure, Network, Security, Applications, and Help Desk teams.\nDemonstrate the ability to manage assigned work, communicate status clearly, and maintain accurate technical documentation.\nYear 1 Victory Lap\nIndependently handle a defined set of day-to-day cloud and systems administration responsibilities with minimal supervision.\nBecome a dependable Tier 2 infrastructure resource and effective backup for assigned systems and operational processes.\nSuccessfully contribute to server, cloud, backup, patching, monitoring, and modernization initiatives that improve reliability and security.\nImprove at least one recurring operational process through documentation, automation, standardization, or monitoring.\nDemonstrate continued technical growth and readiness to take ownership of increasingly complex systems and projects.\nReady to Join The Team? The base salary will be based on a number of factors including the role offered, the individual's job-related knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
