This is an onsite role at our Cleveland, TN location.\nReporting to the Finance Manager, the Analyst is a key position that is responsible for the day to day Finance operations. This position ensures that all daily activities within the Finance Department are customer focused and performed in a manner consistent with achievement of the plant and finance vision, goals and objectives.\nYour responsibilities will include\nThis position includes but not limited to the below responsibilities:\nInternal Reporting Ownership & Controls\nEnsure strict adherence to all Whirlpool manufacturing standards and SOX controls\n\nDaily operational reporting (labor, consumable spend, overtime, and scrap)\n\nForecasting and Planning\nProvide near and long-range forecasting (including Profit Plan) to enhance strategic decision making (strategy planning, annual profit plan, and monthly outlook)\n\nLearn month-end journal entries & other finance tasks as backup to other finance team members\n\nManage and Drive Process Efficiency\nDrive improvements in key financial processes to optimize efficiency and quality of data\n\nDrive Analytical Insights for Process Partner\nDeliver analytical insights and influence decision-making by influencing business partners\n\nEstablish relationships with process partners in the finance organization that facilitate effective collaboration and drive positive change in our processes\n\nKey member of World Class Manufacturing (WCM)\nBe fully competent in CD Pillar Methodology\n\nLead and assist in training to support Cost Deployment activities\n\nDrive cost savings by identifying gaps through resource allocation decision and analysis, capital requisition and cost management\n\nMinimum requirements\nBachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting\n\n2+ years of finance or accounting experience\n\n1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment\n\nPreferred skills and experiences\nAbility to work autonomously with little oversight and make prudent and informed decisions, often quickly and with limited information\n\nStrong understanding of Lean principles, tools, and methodologies.
