More information is available atwww.india.whirlpool.in\nThe team you will be a part of\nThe Electrical Engineering team designs, develops or coordinates development of components, small systems, quality systems, processes or materials.\nThis role in summary\nThe Hardware Engineering position is responsible for designing electronics, from requirements to production release embedded in Whirlpool Appliances. You will execute engineering tasks as part of cross-functional teams for new product development programs responsible for concepts, requirements, design, analysis and test. The specifics of this role are focused on design, analysis and test of electronic controls over a wide range of operational environments, markets and feature sets.\nYour responsibilities will include\nUnderstanding of function concepts:\n-Develop and validate embedded complex hardware applications, mostly focused on Appliance Control unit / HMI solutions\n-Design hardware solutions to drive system optimization, improve module/component design and enhance product reliability.\n-Interact with system integrators to review and consolidate application requirements.\n-Select and integrate hardware modules to build embedded hardware applications.\n-Electronic/Electrical Circuit Model/Simulation\n-PCB Layout design, applied simulation and component selection for hardware execution.\n-Prototype assembly, bring up, debugging, and functional verification\n-Working with and managing suppliers/manufacturing partners .\n- Basic knowledge of EMI/ECM tests, standards\nMinimum requirements\nEDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS\nEg. B.Tech-Mech/ Polymer Engg/ + diploma from CIPET\nAGE\nNA\nEXP\nBE 3-6 yrs, ME 0-5 yrs\nExample:-Automotive Industry/ Injection Molding Suppliers / Manufacturers\npeople from Application\nEngineering group\nPreferred skills and experiences\nTECHNICAL\n.Industry standard tool Alegro Cadence\n- Able to work with both Global and regional Groups inside EES and Cross platforms, influencing positively the organization in all directions(both Vertical and Horizontal)\n- Effective communication and negotiating skills.\n- Familiarity with 6 Sigma Methodology and EMC & EMI theory,\n- Experience designing high volume products dealing with contract manufacturers\n- Mixed-signal and embedded board-level design experience incl.
