More information is available atwww.india.whirlpool.in\nThe team you will be a part of\nTest Engineering\nThis role in summary\nIn this position you will be a partner with the SES Full stack software development team to deliver \"Product\" Leadership,\nwith the best in class SW for Whirlpool consumers, ensuring flawless delivery of software (SW) which are verified and\nvalidated, that may be leveraged across multiple regions and project execution.\nYour responsibilities will include\n1 - 2 + years of experience in Embedded Software and system development for consumer appliance,\nAutomotive, medical or industrial industries,\nKnowledge of Embedded C, C++ is mandatory, Good to have knowledge of Java and / or Android development.\nCloud, IoT infrastructure and mobile app development.\nExperience with different test automation frameworks (not mandatory)\nExperience with SCRUM or Agile development concepts.\nExperience with software testing, debugging and project repository tools such as Selenium, Appium, Git, Jenkins,\nJira, Rational\nAbility to debug complex issues, read and interpret logs.\nUnderstanding of Gen AI concepts and using it for day to day software development purpose\nBasic understanding of SW tooling and Test architecture.\nBasic understanding of Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Development (CD) principles\nSolid written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to understand various types of tests such as - component level, interface, integration, regression, System\nlevel, subsystem level, white box, black box.\nBasic understanding of software security vulnerabilities for embedded software\nMinimum requirements\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, or Computer Science or Information Technology\nExperience (inclusive of academic, co-op, or internship) in embedded software development , Zephyr OS, test\nautomation scripts development, etc\nExperience (inclusive of academic, co-op, or internship) with GenAI based tooling\nExperience (inclusive of academic, co-op, or internship) with Microcontrollers, high end processors for graphical\ndisplays, Test automation scripts, Bluetooth\nExperience (inclusive of academic, co-op, or internship) with hardware programming and debugging tools\nPreferred skills and experiences\n[ACTION REQUIRED - DO NOT POST AS IS]Describe the desirable background and experiences which will be a plus if the candidate possesses them.
