Coordinates with various functions to ensure successful product development and implementation.\nThis role in summary\nResponsible for supporting in improvement of Fluid and Thermal performance of Products/Projects through CFD Simulations\nYour responsibilities will include\nTechnical Expertise:\nProficient in component/subsystem/system level Pre Processing tool (Ansys Workbench /CCM+/Spaceclaim /Creo etc )\n\nProficient in Flow simulation of component/subsystem level using any one of CFD tools (Fluent /Star CCM/Openfoam)\n\nProficient in Thermal simulation of component/subsystem level using any one of CFD tools (Fluent /Star CCM/Openfoam)\n\nRequired Technical Experience:\nShould have Good knowledge of CFD fundamentals\n\nShould be able to prepare the simplified CAD models required.\n\nDefine the mesh attributes and assign the required boundary conditions\n\nPerform the CFD simulations, analyze the results, prepare proper reports with appropriate conclusions and suggestions to improve the product performance.\n\nHands on experience on flow and thermal problems.\n\nGood knowledge of Engineering fundamentals of Thermodynamics, Fluid dynamics, and Heat transfer\n\nShould be able to handle projects in the area of Fluid Flow and Heat transfer\n\nGood Results interpretation skills.\n\nCritical thinking for effectively approaching to conclusions\n\nMinimum requirements\nEducation:\nM.tech from Mechanical/Automobile/Aerospace Engineering.\nExperience: 2-4 Years\nResponsibilities:\nTranslate Simulation Requests, Physical Problems into Numerical Models.\n\nPrepare the plan for simulation activities and align the simulation strategy with the requester\n\nExecute CFD Simulation projects as an individual contributor\n\nEstablishing correlations and validations at Component/Subsystems Level\n\nGood in problem solving\n\nHave effective communication, aligned with the project requirement.\n\nProvide design solutions based on simulations.\n\nPreferred skills and experiences\nKEY DELIVERABLES\nPatents/ Research / External presentations :\nRigor to publish/present papers in Technical Forums\nTechnical rigor for patent filing and desirable to have patents\nKnowledge Management :\nOpen in sharing knowledge and thoughts\nProactive knowledge documentation and sharing within and outside stakeholders\nTECHNICAL\nKnowledge of Fluid & Thermal Science .\n\nKnowledge of CFD fundamentals\n\nBasic understanding flow and thermal Measurement Data\n\nProficiency in Simulation tools like Fluent/Star CCM/Openfoam\n\nResults interpretation skills.\n\nConnect with us and learn more about Whirlpool Corporation\nSee what it's like to work at Whirlpool by visiting Whirlpool Careers.
