This role in summary
As a Supervisor-in-Training, you will be responsible for the day-to-day Safety, Quality, Delivery/Cost and Engagement for a defined area/shift. You will also have personal responsibility to your growth and development by spending deliberate time learning all facets of operations in Assembly or Supply. You will use this position to refine your leadership style by learning from salaried Supervisor, establish a career path of upward growth and close professional gaps
Your responsibilities will include
Day-to-Day execution of operational Business Metrics - Safety / Quality / Delivery / Cost / Engagement
Provide feedback on employee concerns, morale, etc. to First Line Leader, respect confidentiality of individuals, provide feedback to co-workers on positive behaviors
Attention to detail and excellent organizational and time-management abilities
Minimum requirements
Must be open to working any shift and be flexible as required to appropriately support the business, as well you your development
Manufacturing operations experience is prefered
Experience with basic problem solving tools
Preferred skills and experiences
Previous Group Lead experience within Operations
Experience with WCM Tools
