This role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing the electrical and electronic systems that powand control various home appliances, such as refrigerators, washing machines, dishwashers, ovens, and more.\nThis position will be part of our engineerning team, based in India (Pune - Ranjangaon ), having focus on Refrigerator platforms and manage system integration of projects and leading group of system integrators.\nYour role would involve developing and programming control systems and user interfaces for the appliances, enabling users to interact with and operate the appliances with ease. By collaborating with diverse and global teams, they contribute to the development of reliable, user-friendly, and technologically advanced home appliances that enhance the consumer's life at home\nYour responsibilities will include:\nManage system integration of projects in Production Development Projects. \nWork with system architects to have a better hand shake from G0 (planning) to Execution starting at G1 \nSupport arch to Decompose product level requirements generation with Target ranges in DNG for EES System and alignment with stakeholders.\nSupport Architects and Project Managers on project scoping work, aligning right cost, quality target and schedule (IDP) with stakeholders before project is initiated\nAccountable to Drive EES integration events since project initiation.\nSupport on Platform integration event\nEnsure with the support of PM , product development activities are completed On time, Cost and Quality\nPerformance targets to support the project plans and project execution.\nResponsible for EES system level design trade-offs and technical decision making for issue resolution within the project/product plan guardrails. \nLead technical design reviews / Integration Even for project to provide an assessment of whether the project is within the architecture/project/product plan guardrails by working with key development team members (e.g. Subsystem teams, V&V Engineer, Project Leader) and by consulting with key architecture development team members when necessary (e.g. System Architect, Subsystem SMEs, V&V Strategist)\nResponsibility to Drive & tracking the closure of Risk Management and Knowledge Gap by partnering with stakeholders.\nResponsible to drive EES system validation through use of predictive validation methodologies in concept, design and product validation stages\nResponsible for driving Product Leadership through the Whirlpool Product Development process at the EES system Level. \nResponsible to drive the adherence of EES APQP and Support project APQP.\nResponsibility to Ensure variant-specific engineering bills of material (EBOMs) have proper configuration management and align to project charter and architecture definition\nDrive closure of EES System level dFMEA, based on Concept and Design Validation data and functional performance stacks. \nDefine parts will be needed for the builds, number of samples and dates required\nAlign expenses, write POs and track the parts for builds and make sure they arrive on time\nReview test cases based on consumer use cases results are completed and approved as per the project plan with EES V&V Engineer , EES Subsystem Platform Subsystem , Setting file Engineer , Platform SI\nPartner with the Systems Architect and Subsystem Engineers to ensure requirements are consistent, complete and approved as per the project plan\nDrive Subsystem Engineer & ECAD team for processing the Design package releases and control. \nTechnical Support the Change Management (IOCs, significant scope changes) along with the PM , Depending on Project Scope Changes, that impact significantly Cost, Schedule or Resources, understand the impact of changes and build trade-off/selection material do decide approve/not approve IOC.\nAndon ManagementTechnical Risk in EES system level and Subsystem level\nSchedule / Cost / Quality Risk in EES system level\nCapture or collect Lessons learned with proper project exit.\nEES System level EMC review as well as Clearance/creepage on electrical parts\n\nMinimum requirements:\nEducation: BE or BS , ME or MS or Mtech degree in Electrical or electronics or instrumentation Engineering\nExperience: 11-15 years project Engineering & Technical Design Experience\nElectrical Engineering or Controls and Automation Engineer or another electrical related Degree is a must;\nProven New Product development and execution experience in electrical and electronics related product.\nSystem Integration capabilities, Critical Systems Thinker\nKnowledge in given Product Platform (Refrigeration)\nProject management\nSystem design & system Integration\nRequirements Management\nStrong Electrical system background, including EMC Theory and Practice and Electrical Stack-up capability\nBase level: Exceptional problem solving approach with OPEX certification\nEnglish Fluent level (Listen, Write and Speak in English is mandatory for the position);\nGood balance of technical and project management skills;\nGood communication skills;\nPreferred skills and experiences:\nTechnical skills and experiences To excel in the role of a System Integrator in Electric and Electronic Systems applied in home appliances, the following experience and skills are valuable:\nUnderstanding of electrical and electronic engineering principles, including circuit design, power systems, digital electronics, hardware, software and sensor technologies;
