You will execute engineering tasks as part of cross-functional teams for new product development programs responsible for concepts, requirements, design, analysis, and testing. The specifics of this role are focused on the design, analysis, and testing of electronic controls over a wide range of operational environments, markets, and feature sets.\nYour responsibilities will include\nDevelop and validate embedded hardware applications\nDesign hardware solutions to drive system optimization, improve module/component design, and enhance product reliability. \nInteract with system architects/integrators to review and consolidate application requirements.\n Select and integrate hardware modules to build embedded hardware applications.\nElectronic/Electrical Circuit Model/Simulation, PSPICE Knowledge\nPCB Layout design, applied simulation, and component selection for hardware execution.\nPrototype assembly, bring up, debugging, and functional verification \nWorking with and managing suppliers/manufacturing partners \nProject Execution Activities\nActively Participate in Technical Design Reviews to ensure Projects delivering per architecture\nActively Contribute to Change management in place to manage the changes to the project\nAt Design Completion Milestone completes the project delivery at a system level.\nCapable of proper use of Whirlpool processes and tools.\nMinimum requirements\nBachelor's degree in Engineering \n5+ years of experience with analyzing and resolving system hardware issues\nPreferred skills and experiences\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering \n6+ years experience with industry-standard, Hardware and PCB Layout development and tools (examples of such industry-standard tools are PADS, Altium Designer, and OrCAD)\nMSC Engineering degree (Electrical, Electronic) \nIndustry-standard tool Altium\nAble to work with both Global and regional Groups inside SES and Cross platforms, influencing positively the organization in all directions(both Vertical and Horizontal)\nEffective communication and negotiating skills\nFamiliarity with 6 Sigma Methodology and EMC & EMI theory\nExperience designing high-volume products and dealing with contract manufacturers\nMixed-signal and embedded board-level design experience incl.
