Acting as the site’s \"Purveyor of Inventory,\" this individual ensures precise tracking and accountability of all items, driving a culture of accuracy and operational excellence.\n Essential Duties and Responsibilities:\nThis list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary.\nEnsures inventory accuracy by verifying warehouse locations and material balances\nConducts physical counts and compare results to system records to maintain alignment\nInvestigates inventory discrepancies through root cause analysis and drive timely resolutions\nEscalates discrepancies exceeding quantity and value thresholds to the supervisor for review\nIdentifies and reports damaged products or hazardous conditions within the warehouse to leadership\nSafely and effectively operates all power equipment, including but not limited to Powered Industrial Trucks (PITs), electric/manual pallet jacks, and scissor lifts, supporting Whisker’s Zero-Incident Safety Culture\nMaintains a strong commitment to safety practices at all times while on Whisker property\nActively participates in daily and weekly department meetings to drive continuous improvement\nSupports continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency\nCollaborates closely with warehouse, inventory, and operations teams to ensure smooth material flow and system integrity\nUtilizes warehouse management systems (WMS) and reporting tools to record counts and discrepancies accurately\nAdheres to company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and compliance requirements related to inventory and safety\nAssists in preparing inventory reports and cycle count metrics for leadership review\nPerforms additional duties and special assignments as needed to support warehouse operations\nRequirements\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required;
