Tourism Whistler is looking for winter surveyors who gather key information about visitor experiences in Whistler. Surveyors collect information by conducting short, face-to-face intercept surveys with guests throughout Whistler Village. Candidates need to be outgoing, collect data responsibly and independently, and be knowledgeable locals who enjoy talking to visitors.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nAct as a Tourism Whistler ambassador, living our purpose and vision with passion & energy, achievement and respect\nApproach visitors, build rapport and collect survey responses accurately and responsibly\nConduct visitor surveys independently using an iPad\nMust be available two to three shifts per week from late November 2026 to late April 2027\nShifts are five hours, generally between 9am and 4pm\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities\nExcellent interpersonal skills, and comfortable approaching visitors and generating rapport\nGood knowledge of Whistler and surrounding area\nAbility to work independently with limited supervision\nAbility to operate an iPad to conduct surveys\nAbility to stand and walk for extended periods (up to five hours) and work outdoors in all weather conditions\nPosting closing date: November 10, 2026.
