Operating across Utah, Idaho, Nevada, Wyoming, Colorado, Oregon, and beyond, our companies are united by four core values - Value Safety, Embrace Ownership, Be Honorable, and Elevate Team - which guide how we work, how we treat each other, and how we deliver quality results on some of the most challenging projects in the region.\nRoles and Responsibilities:\nIncluding but not limited to the list below.\nProvide day-to-day support for ERP modules, timekeeping applications, telematics platforms, and field reporting tools.\nConfigure system settings, user roles, workflows, and integrations to align with operational needs.\nTroubleshoot issues across applications and coordinate with vendors when escalation is required.\nMaintain system documentation, configuration logs, and change records.\nWork directly with foremen, superintendents, and project teams to ensure successful adoption of mobile apps, daily reporting tools, and equipment tracking systems.\nConduct on-site and remote training sessions tailored to field workflows.\nGather feedback from field users and translate it into actionable system improvements.\nMonitor data flowing between ERP, timekeeping, telematics, and reporting systems to ensure accuracy and consistency.\nIdentify data gaps, workflow bottlenecks, and process inefficiencies; recommend and implement improvements.\nSupport development of dashboards and reports by preparing clean, structured data.\nAssist with rollout of new applications, modules, and integrations across the organization.\nParticipate in requirements gathering, testing, documentation, and user acceptance.\nSupport automation initiatives using tools such as Power Automate, SQL, or lightweight scripting.\nResearch emerging construction technologies relevant to heavy civil operations.\nEvaluate tools that improve productivity, safety, equipment utilization, or reporting accuracy.\nSupport companywide digital transformation initiatives, including modernization of field workflows and system consolidation.\nComply with all safety policies, procedures, and standards of safety.\nOther duties and responsibilities may be assigned by supervisors.\nSkills and Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nThose with an education and/or work-related credential from a secondary or post-secondary educational system will be given preferred interview status (Precision Exams, NOCTE, etc.).\nA minimum of 2-4 years of experience in construction technology, business systems support, or related technical roles.\nExperience with ERP systems, timekeeping platforms, telematics, and field reporting applications.\nUnderstanding of construction operations, equipment workflows, and daily reporting processes.\nAbility to troubleshoot hardware and software issues across mobile devices, tablets, and office systems.\nFamiliarity with SQL, Power BI, Power Automate, or similar tools is a plus.\nAbility to translate operational needs into system configurations and workflows.\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to support both field and office personnel.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent priorities.\nAbility to work effectively in a team environment.\nValid driver’s license and reliable transportation to get to and from work.\nPhysical Requirements:\nAble and willing to work long hours including day, night, and weekend shifts as needed, and work outside of normal hours.\nAble to sit, walk, lift, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.\nAble to travel to job sites and work in outside environments being subjected to weather changes, noise, vibrations, and job hazards.\nAble to work at a computer for extended periods of time.\nWhitaker Construction offers an exceptional benefits package including:\nEmployee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
