You spot cultural moments worth reacting to, and find the angle that makes product and lifestyle content feel sharper than the category norm.\nYou'll work closely with the Social Media Coordinator, who owns reporting, planning, and scheduling, while you bring the ideas, taste, and execution that make the content actually land.\nPrimary objective of the job:\nTo originate and produce exceptional social-first content for White Stuff, bringing sharp cultural instinct, original ideas and creative taste to elevate how our product, brand and community are seen across social platforms. Acting as a creative partner to the senior designer and campaign art director and the wider marketing team, the role is responsible for shaping ideas from concept through to execution, not just delivering on a brief, and for bringing our positioning as champions of the independent spirit to life through real people and real community moments.\nIdeas & Creative Direction\nDevelop original, social-first content series and recurring formats that build a distinct identity for the brand, not one-off posts\n\nBring fresh, unbriefed ideas to campaigns, pitching concepts rather than waiting for direction\n\nSpot and act on cultural moments and conversations worth reacting to, with the judgement to know what's a fit and what isn't\n\nDrive the elevation of how product and lifestyle content looks and feels, pushing taste and craft, not just output\n\nAct as a creative partner to our senior designer and campaign art director, as well as the wider marketing team, shaping ideas from concept through execution\n\nChampion real people and real community stories in content, in line with our positioning as champions of the independent spirit\n\nContribute ideas that support the wider brand ambition to become the UK's most influential lifestyle brand, connecting social content to marketing campaigns and content pillars\n\nContent Production\nFilm videos, shoot photos, and put together graphics tailored to each platform's format and best practices\n\nBring products to life through storytelling: styling, campaign concepts, and content that makes people want the piece, not just see it\n\nKeep all content on-brand, adhering to brand and campaign guidelines, tone, and visual aesthetics across every post\n\nEdit content using CapCut, Premiere Pro, and AI-assisted tools where they speed up or elevate the work, knowing when AI helps\n\nWrite captions, hooks, and scripts in a voice that matches the brand and the platform\n\nTrend & Cultural Relevance\nTrack sounds, formats, and cultural conversations across fashion and community spaces, translating them into ideas that feel authentic to the brand\n\nMaintain a sharp read on what's genuinely relevant versus what's just noise\n\nCollaboration\nPartner closely with the Social Media Coordinator on calendar and scheduling, and with the wider marketing/brand team on campaigns and launches\n\nCoordinate with or direct talent/UGC creators for shoots when needed\n\nPerformance\nReview performance metrics (views, saves, shares, engagement, sentiment) and use them to sharpen future ideas, not just repeat what worked\n\nWhat you’ll need:\nSkills & Experience\n1-3 years of experience creating social content professionally, in-house, agency, or as a creator/freelancer with a strong portfolio\n\nA portfolio that shows original ideas and strong creative judgement, not just polished execution\n\nGenuine, deep immersion in fashion and community culture: someone who can speak to why something is relevant, not just that it's trending\n\nStrong taste and an ability to elevate a brief rather than execute it literally\n\nFull technical proficiency across CapCut and Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop), including editing, pacing, sound design, captions, and transitions\n\nWorking knowledge of graphic design, able to produce simple on-brand graphics\n\nComfortable using AI tools as part of the creative process, with the judgement to know where they add value and where they don't\n\nConfident filming solo, with videography/photography, lighting, and framing skills\n\nStrong communication skills and comfortable appearing on camera if needed\n\nFast turnaround mentality without sacrificing quality or taste\n\nExperience with After Effects\n\nExperience directing or casting talent/UGC creators for shoots\n\nA recognisable personal point of view, whether through your own content, following, or creative work\n\nWhat we will offer you:\nAs Social Content Creator at White Stuff you will be entitled to an array of great benefits, some of which include:\nAnnual bonus opportunity\n\nUp to 25 days Holiday plus bank Holidys\n\nHybrid working 3 days in the London Office\n\n2 extra (paid!) days off per year to volunteer in the local community\n\n50% discount\n\nSubsidised BUPA Dental Insurance\n\nHealthcare cash plan and Life Assurance\n\nInterest free season ticket loan\n\nPension Contribution\n\nWe are committed to creating an environment where we can all be proud to work and be ourselves.
