Our corporate philosophy allows us to develop skills, collaborate alongside our teammates, and ultimately have a fulfilling career.\nPosition Overview:\nWorking within the Asset Integrity Team, the Asset Integrity Inspector is responsible for performing a wide range of integrity management activities as prescribed in Whitecap’s Pressure Equipment Integrity Management System manual. The successful candidate will work with Engineering, Operations, and Maintenance teams throughout the entire life cycle of Whitecap’s equipment including design, installation, commissioning, operations, inspection, repair and eventual decommissioning. The Asset Integrity Inspector will be responsible for the integrity management of all boilers, pressure vessels, pressure relief devices, storage tanks and on-lease and above ground piping within the Kaybob Operating area.\nThe successful candidate will be required to travel to field and office locations within Alberta, as required. It is preferred that the successful candidate live within a reasonable distance from Fox Creek or Whitecourt, AB.\nResponsibilities:\nPerform internal, external and installation inspections.\n\nCoordinate non-destructive testing and visual inspection activities completed by third parties.\n\nComplete integrity assessments on pressure equipment and assign inspection intervals.\n\nDevelop equipment repair plans and aid in the coordination of repair activities including direct supervision and certification of repair activities.\n\nDevelop and update inspection scopes of work and coordinate vendors to execute the inspections.\n\nEvaluate and assess PSV service reports.\n\nSupport the implementation of our PEIMS program.\n\nParticipate in Field & Asset Integrity team meetings.\n\nReport incidents and failures to regulatory bodies and the corporate Chief Inspector.\n\nSupport internal conformance reviews, regulatory audits, failure analyses and risk assessments.\n\nWork with provincial regulators to ensure corporate and regulatory compliance.\n\nResponsible for maintaining accurate asset inventories and operating status within corporate and regulatory databases.\n\nProvide technical inspection assistance to engineering and construction teams.\n\nInspect and recommend protective coating systems and repairs.\n\nRemain up to date and knowledgeable on all applicable codes, standards, and regulations.\n\nField coordination and cost control for integrity monitoring and assessment activities.\n\nProvide Asset Integrity support in other Whitecap Operating areas as needed.\n\nQualifications:\nMinimum of 5 years of experience within the oil & gas industry in a similar role with 5 years of experience completing in-field inspections.\n\nAPI 510, preference given to 570 and 653 Inspector Certifications.\n\nABSA ISI-BPVPP or ISI-PVPP Certification\n\nWorking knowledge of applicable industry codes such as CSA B51, ASME SEC I, IV, VIII, IX, B31.3, B31.1 and API Inspection Codes\n\nWorking knowledge of welding procedures, processes and NDE techniques.\n\nStandard oil and gas safety
