Our corporate philosophy allows us to develop skills, collaborate alongside our teammates, and ultimately have a fulfilling career.\nPurpose:\nA key member for our Whitecap Resources Inc - Boundary Lake Operations, you will provide support to the operations team, ensuring that Oil is produced in an efficient and cost-effective manner which facilitates safety, health, environmental, and regulatory compliance and business stewardship. Your primary responsibility will be the day-to-day operation and maintenance of field equipment within assigned operations runs, while adhering to government and company standards.\nMain Responsibilities & Activities:\nOversee the day-to-day operation, inspection, maintenance, alteration and repair of the field equipment.\nEnsuring Environment, Health & Safety are a top priority, and completing all work with a safety conscious attitude.\nMust be a team player with good communication skills and willingness to learn and be accepting and receptive to new ideas.\nComplete and maintain accurate records and submissions of all necessary documents and reports in relation to the field operation and equipment.\nPerform housekeeping duties as necessary on and around equipment, process area, and control room; keeping equipment and well sites clean and clear.\nSafety and compliance inspections (Safety, Tanks, Lease, H.I.D’s)\nPipeline Operations and maintenance (Pigging, chemical programs, inspections)\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:\nThe ideal candidate will have 3 years of relevant experience; however, equivalent experience and qualifications will be considered.\nPumping oil wells, Booster Pumps, Water Injection system, Satellite test buildings.\nGood computer skills are an asset.\nSelf-motivated, open-minded and results oriented.\nSafety training current and up to date including: First Aid/CPR, H2S.\nWorking Conditions:\nQualified candidates must have ability to work an 8 days ON/6 days OFF shifts with a rotating schedule.\nWork location is around Goodlow B.C.
