The ideal candidate will assist in implementing the requirements of ISO/IEC 42001, the international standard for Artificial Intelligence Management Systems (AIMS), helping ensure that AI is developed and used responsibly, ethically, and securely across our organization. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in AI governance and compliance, with exposure to AI risk management, policy development, and cross-team project coordination.\nResponsibilities:\nAIMS Implementation: Assist in establishing and maintaining the AI Management System, including drafting and updating the AI policy, objectives, procedures, and other documentation required by ISO/IEC 42001.\nAI Risk and Impact Assessment: Support the identification and assessment of AI-related risks and conduct AI system impact assessments, considering fairness, transparency, privacy, safety, and accountability.\nControls and Gap Analysis: Help perform gap assessments against ISO/IEC 42001 requirements and Annex A controls, and assist in preparing the Statement of Applicability.\nAI System Inventory: Help build and maintain an inventory of AI systems, tools, and use cases within the organization, including their owners, data sources, and intended purposes.\nProject Coordination: Coordinate with department heads, engineering, legal, and other stakeholders to gather inputs, track action items, follow up on deliverables, and keep implementation activities on schedule.\nAwareness Training: Help design and deliver awareness sessions on responsible AI use and the organization's AI policies, promoting a culture of responsible AI.\nResearch and Analysis: Research emerging AI regulations, frameworks (e.g., NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act), trends, and best practices to inform policy and implementation.\nAdministrative Support: Maintain records of AIMS activities, track compliance metrics, organize meetings, and prepare reports and presentations.\nSpecial Projects: Participate in special projects as assigned, such as internal audit preparation, management reviews, or certification readiness activities.\nQualifications:\nA graduate or student of Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not required;
