The role contributes to continuous improvement of testing practices and helps ensure applications meet requirements and acceptance criteria for end users.\nRoles & Responsibilities\nExecute manual test cases for web and/or mobile applications.\nPerform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.\nReview requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to identify potential testing scenarios.\nCreate, maintain, and execute test cases and test scenarios.\nIdentify, document, and track software defects using issue-tracking tools such as Jira.\nProvide clear and detailed bug reports, including steps to reproduce, expected results, actual results, and supporting evidence.\nPerform retesting and regression testing after bugs and enhancements have been addressed.\nCollaborate with developers and Product/Business teams to investigate and resolve issues.\nValidate application behavior across different browsers, devices, and environments when applicable.\nAssist in maintaining QA documentation, test results, and testing reports.\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.\nContinuously learn and apply QA best practices to improve testing processes.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. 2-3 of experience in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or a related role (fresh graduates with relevant internship, academic, or personal project experience are welcome).\nBasic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).\nKnowledge of different testing types such as functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.\nExperience or familiarity with writing and executing test cases and test scenarios.\nGood analytical and problem-solving skills.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies or unexpected application behavior.\nGood written and verbal communication skills.\nWillingness to learn and work collaboratively in an Agile development environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExposure to API testing tools such as Postman.\nBasic knowledge of SQL/database validation.\nFamiliarity with Jira, Zephyr, or other test management tools.\nBasic understanding of UI/UX and usability testing.\nExposure to QA automation or scripting (a plus).\nFamiliarity with Jira or other issue-tracking/test management tools
