In two or three sentences, describe why the job exists and what the work involves.\nThe Test Analyst is responsible for the development and execution of test cases and verifying that the software development and deployment quality of SBC's IT solutions and implemented changes or fixes meet functional and performance expectations.\nPRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES \nList, in order of importance, the five to six essential functions, key activities and decision-making areas of the job. It may help to specify the typical target(s) and how success will be measured for each activity.\nUnderstands all the relevant documents to determine and understand what needs to be tested; Supports test planning by deciding how to best test based on information provided; Executes test cases with an in-depth understanding of their dedicated business processes. \nDevelops and maintains test cases to ensure comprehensive testing using approved test tools; Prioritizes testing activities to ensure efficient and timely test execution; Ensures traceability of test cases back to requirements; Executes test cases and review test cases of Junior Test Analyst for any or all of component testing, system testing, integration testing, regression testing, performance testing, end-to-end testing, and user acceptance testing in accordance with agreed test cases and test plans \nExecutes all the test case and report defects, defines severity and priority for each defect; Prepares the status report of your testing activities; Carries out regression testing every time when changes are made to the code to fix defects\nEnsures that defects are documented, tracked, managed, and escalated as required; Be able to explain defects to Test Managers and Engineers\nDevelops and maintains test documents such as but not limited to Test Scenarios, Test Cases, Test Data, Test Evidence, and Datasheets for automation in the document repository\nSupports a positive and collaborative technology delivery culture with a philosophy of continuous improvement, development, innovation and excellence while remaining in compliance with the bank’s policies and procedures and upholding the highest standards of professional conduct. \nQualifitcations:\nYears of Work Experience: 3-5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance\nEducational Attainment/ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field/\nRequired course (if applicable): Degree in testing or quality assurance\nRequired/Preferred Certification/Professional License (if applicable): \nProfessional certifications in software testing, such as ISTQB -
