The role covers a broad range of accounting activities, including transaction recording, inventory accounting, sales reconciliation, payroll review, VAT compliance, and financial documentation while ensuring adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).\nKey Responsibilities\nAccounting Records\nRecord daily financial transactions in the accounting system.\nPrepare and post journal entries with proper supporting documentation.\nMaintain accurate and organized financial records.\nAccounts Processing\nRecord supplier invoices and assist with supplier payment processing in coordination with the Finance Manager.\nRecord customer payments and monitor receivable balances.\nEnsure expenses are recorded accurately and allocated to the appropriate accounts.\nStore & POS Reconciliation\nReconcile store sales with POS reports and system records.\nReview store cash deposits and investigate discrepancies.\nEnsure accurate recording of sales from all channels, including retail stores and online platforms.\nInventory Accounting\nRecord inventory transactions and adjustments in the accounting system.\nAssist in reconciling physical inventory with system records.\nSupport stock count procedures and investigate inventory variances.\nCalculate and allocate landed costs (freight, customs duties, and related import expenses) to inventory to ensure accurate product costing.\nBank & Account Reconciliation\nPerform regular bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.\nReconcile supplier, customer, and other balance sheet accounts.\nReview account balances to ensure accuracy and completeness.\nFinancial Closing\nAssist with monthly financial closing activities.\nEnsure transactions are recorded in the correct accounting period.\nSupport preparation of financial schedules and reports in accordance with IFRS principles and company accounting policies.\nPayroll & Employee Earnings Review\nReview employee payroll records, including salaries, allowances, overtime, and other earnings before processing.\nEnsure payroll calculations are accurate and supported by approved documentation.\nVerify that payroll entries are correctly recorded in the accounting system and allocated to the appropriate accounts.\nVAT Compliance\nEnsure transactions are properly recorded for VAT purposes.\nMaintain VAT documentation and supporting records.\nAssist in preparing VAT reports in compliance with ZATCA regulations.\nExpense Review & Control\nReview expense claims and supporting documents for completeness and compliance with company policies.\nEnsure expenses are properly authorized before recording them.\nOperational Coordination\nCoordinate with operations, warehouse, and store teams regarding financial matters.\nSupport improvements in accounting procedures and internal controls.\nPerform other accounting-related duties assigned by the Finance Manager.\n Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.\nMinimum 5 years of accounting experience.\nExperience using Odoo ERP or similar accounting systems.\nStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.\nGood command of English (spoken and written).\nGood understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and accounting
