Whitehaven Coal award, recognise and celebrate individuals and teams going above and beyond the requirements of their role to deliver excellent outcomes while demonstrating our values ofSafety, T eamwork, R espect, I ntegrity, V alue and Excellence.\n\nWhitehaven is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the Project Team at our Blackwater operation.\nThis is an opportunity to play a key role in the successful delivery of capital and operational projects within one of Australia's leading mining environments.\nAbout the Role\nReporting to the Project Lead, the Project Manager will be responsible for managing the planning, execution and delivery of a portfolio of vital projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule and within budget.\nThe successful candidate will work closely with site operational teams, contractors, engineering disciplines and key stakeholders to deliver outcomes supporting the success of the operation.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead the end-to-end delivery of site-based projects.\nDevelop and manage project scopes, schedules, budgets and resources.\nCoordinate contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders.\nEnsure compliance with safety, environmental and statutory requirements.\nMonitor project performance and implement corrective actions where required.\nPrepare project reports and communicate progress to key stakeholders.\nDrive continuous improvement and project execution excellence.\nAbout You:\nPrevious relevant mining industry experience.\nDemonstrated experience managing construction, infrastructure, maintenance, or capital projects within a mining environment.\nStrong stakeholder engagement and contractor management skills.\nExcellent planning, organisational and problem-solving abilities.\nProven ability to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.\nStrong communication and leadership capabilities.\n\nQualifications\nFormal qualifications in Engineering is required.\nProject Management qualifications and/or relevant industry certifications will be considered favourably.\n\nWhat We Offer\nAttractive 5:2 roster with WFH Friday Option.\nOpportunity to work with a high-performing and collaborative project team.\nCompetitive remuneration and benefits package.\nCareer development and growth opportunities within a leading mining organisation.\nA strong commitment to safety, innovation and operational excellence.\nHelp shape the future of mining operations at Blackwater.\n\nWhy Whitehaven Coal?\nSuccessful ASX Coal Miner \n26 wks.
