This position will coordinate the distribution, execution, and analysis of Whitewater’s various marketing campaigns with a specific focus on owned (digital and physical), paid, and earned channels. The Marketing Coordinator is an on-site, full-time, benefits eligible position and reports to the Marketing Manager.\nResponsibilities\nCollaborate with the marketing team to plan, manage, and execute Whitewater’s marketing campaigns.\nAssist in developing integrated marketing plans for campaigns, coordinating activities across multiple consumer touchpoints, including media, digital, social, on-location, and event marketing. \nPartner with Whitewater teams to tailor marketing plans to meet each team’s specific needs, maximizing campaign impact.\nSupport the development of campaign briefs, including external and internal research presentations, document creation, and scheduling and coordination of meetings and project milestones. \nSupport ongoing communication with brand partners and external vendor projects. \nAnalyze campaign performance across channels to ensure goals and KPI’s are met. \nCoordinate all paid advertising placements for the Whitewater brand.\nIdentify, develop, and execute earned media opportunities with digital platforms, print publications, tourism entities, social media influencers, and outdoor lifestyle brands. \nManage Whitewater’s social and community presence on various platforms. \nCoordinate all aspects of third-party media, photography, and film coverage of Whitewater locations and programming. \nProactively research paid and earned media trends across a variety of platforms to stay current with industry standards. \nDevelop a deep understanding of the outdoor industry and Whitewater experiences to ensure marketing efforts align with the outdoor lifestyle and Whitewater brand. \nCreate trackable and data driven recaps and reports for all marketing efforts. \nProvide support for other marketing projects including programming, grassroots and community marketing efforts, product naming, photo/video shoot coordination.\nLead the planning and execution of marketing deliverables and campaigns to ensure on-time execution and alignment with brand standards across all paid and organic communications channels. \nCoordinate with vendors and service providers to fulfill marketing collateral and deliverables for onsite and geographic target markets, including print media, brochures, posters, banners, and books.\nOther duties as assigned\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related discipline.\n2+ years relevant marketing experience.\nPhotography and/or videography experience is a plus. \nIntellectual curiosity and strong critical analysis skills.\nEfficient and effective written and verbal communication skills.\nFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and during Whitewater events as needed.\nPhysical Demands\nAbility to work outdoors for extended periods in all weather and environmental conditions.\nMust be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds. \nMust be able to bend, stand, lean, and kneel on a regular basis and for sustained periods of time.\nMust be able to safely self-transport over uneven terrain or in a confined space.\nMust be able to work in shared spaces with other employees and customers.\nAll positions at Whitewater require employees to report and work onsite at Whitewater locations.\nBenefits\nAccess to the Whitewater Center’s pass activities\nStaff discount program and pro deals\nMedical, Dental, Vision, FSA\n401(k)\nOverview of Department\nMarketing, Finance, and Human Resources professionals work together to advance Whitewater’s mission, cultural goals, and brand communication.
