Event and Project Manager (f/m/d)

General information

The Institute of Management Accounting and Control (IMC) of WHU is a leading think tank in the area of management accounting and control. Under the joint directorship of Prof. Lukas Löhlein, Prof. Marko Reimer and Prof. Utz Schäffer, the institute bundles the numerous teaching and research activities of the associated professors and doctoral students.

This Full-time-position is initially a one-year fixed-term contract with the potential to become extended or permanent.

Your mission

• You will organize and supervise the institute’s conferences, workshops, seminars, and round tables in person, online, and hybrid.
• You communicate and coordinate with our service providers and service departments, both exter-nally and within WHU to ensure the smooth running of the events.
• You will be responsible for the conceptual development of events.
• You will be responsible for and coordinating the entire event marketing, including invitations, press releases, and social media activities.
• You will assist with organizational and administrative tasks at the institute.

Your profile

• Academic degree, ideally experience in the field of event and / or project management
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as entrepreneurial understanding and proactivity
• Positive charisma, resilience, and reliability combined with an independent and structured way of working
• High social and team competence, as well as very good German and English skills
