If you bring calm under pressure, sharp technical instincts, and a security-first mindset, this one’s for you.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO\nOwn cloud infrastructure: Manage and monitor our AWS-based, Kubernetes-driven infrastructure to keep it stable and available across regions.\nCodify everything: Define and evolve our infrastructure as code - versioned, reviewed, and repeatable, never hand-configured.\nLock down security: Maintain a high level of security across our environments and stay ahead of critical patches.\nSolve incidents fast: Investigate outages and errors, log incident reports, and drive fixes to prevent recurring issues.\nProtect the data: Maintain multi-region backups of critical infrastructure and databases for disaster recovery.\nKeep deployments flowing: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Git-driven deployments, and operate our production PostgreSQL databases.\nWHO YOU ARE\nCalm under pressure: You stay level-headed when production goes down and lead the response without panic.\nDetail-oriented: You catch small issues before they become big problems.\nSecurity-minded: You treat security as a default, not an afterthought.\nClear communicator: You translate technical issues into plain language for producers and engineers.\nOwnership-driven: You take responsibility for infrastructure end-to-end, not just your piece of it.\nWHAT YOU KNOW\nProven DevOps experience: 5+ years running cloud infrastructure in production.\nAWS expertise: Deep, hands-on knowledge of AWS accounts and core AWS services.\nKubernetes in production: Comfortable deploying, scaling, and troubleshooting containerized workloads.\nInfrastructure as code: Solid experience with a modern IaC tool and a strong instinct for automation.\nDatabase operations: Experience operating PostgreSQL or a similar database in production.\nCI/CD and GitOps: Comfort building and maintaining deployment pipelines and Git-driven delivery workflows.\nCross-functional collaboration: Experience working with producers and engineers, tracking work through JIRA.\nBonus: Familiarity with ISO27001 or similar security and compliance frameworks.\nAbout Wicked\nWe’re not a factory, we’re a studio.
