This leadership-focused role is ideal for a professional who is passionate about technical excellence, sustainable design, and developing the next generation of engineers.\nAs a leader on our team, you'll guide projects from concept through construction, mentor junior staff, collaborate across disciplines, and help shape engineering standards and best practices throughout the organization.\nWhat You'll Do\nLead the design of HVAC, plumbing, and energy-efficient mechanical systems for commercial building projects, including office, healthcare, retail, educational, and mixed-use facilities.\nProvide technical leadership, quality control review, and code compliance oversight for engineering deliverables.\nMentor, coach, and support junior engineers and designers through project work and professional development.\nCoordinate with other disciplines to develop integrated building solutions.\nParticipate in client meetings, presentations, project planning, and proposal development.\nSupport project budgeting, scheduling, resource planning, and overall project execution.\nStay current with industry trends, technologies, and evolving energy and building codes, including ASHRAE, LEED, IECC, and NFPA standards.\nContinuously learn, grow, and contribute to a culture of technical excellence.\nWhat You Bring\nBachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.\nProfessional Engineer (PE) license, preferred.\n3-5 years of experience designing mechanical and HVAC systems for commercial buildings. Preferred qualifications include 5+ years of post-licensure experience as a Mechanical PE. Qualified EIT candidates with relevant mechanical and HVAC design experience and a demonstrated path toward professional licensure may also be considered.\nDemonstrated experience leading projects and mentoring engineering teams.\nStrong people skills\nStrong proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and HVAC design software such as Trane Trace or HAP.\nThorough understanding of applicable building codes and industry standards, including ASHRAE, IECC, NFPA, and local/state regulations.\nStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.\nValid driver's license and willingness to travel to project and client sites as needed.\nWhat We Offer\nGrowth & Professional Development\nContinued education opportunities\nSupport for maintaining professional licensure and certifications\nTechnical training and career development programs\nOpportunities for leadership growth and advancement\nCompensation & Benefits\nCompetitive salary: $85,000 - $125,000 for a licensed Mechanical Professional Engineer (PE), based on experience.
