This position will design, develop, test, and maintain secure, scalable business applications that support operational and administrative processes. This role works with business users, architects, and IT teams to deliver application enhancements, integrations, automation, reporting, and modernization solutions. This role is located in Granite City and is open to both onsite and hybrid candidates.\nBase Salary Range: $76,000 - $86,000/year\nMay be eligible for a variable compensation plan bonus based upon company performance within fiscal year cycle. \nAt Wieland, we recognize that attracting the best talent is key to our strategy and success as a company. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be based upon various factors unique to each individual that may include but are not limited to years of experience, industry knowledge, technical skills, education, qualifications, etc.\nResponsibilities\nBusiness Applications DeveloperResponsibilities:\nDesign, develop, test, deploy, and maintain custom business applications, web applications, reports, and software enhancements.\nCollaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into effective solutions.\nDevelop and maintain APIs, system integrations, database-driven applications, SQL queries, stored procedures, reports, and data interfaces.\nTroubleshoot software defects, performance issues, and support requests; perform root-cause analysis and implement tested corrections.\nWrite secure, efficient, readable, and maintainable code that follows established development and architecture standards.\nFollow source-control, code-review, testing, documentation, security, deployment, and release-management practices.\nParticipate in application implementations, upgrades, migrations, deployments, and continuous-improvement initiatives.\nMaintain technical documentation and identify opportunities to automate processes and improve reliability, usability, and efficiency.\nBusiness Applications Developer Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent practical experience considered.\n\nThree or more years of professional software-development or application-development experience preferred.\n\nProficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript, SQL Server, and modern web-development technologies.\n\nExperience developing APIs, system integrations, database-driven applications, SQL queries, and stored procedures.\n\nKnowledge of Git, software-development lifecycle practices, application testing, deployment, and release management.\n\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills; experience supporting ERP, manufacturing, supply-chain, logistics, or other enterprise business systems preferred\n\nQualifications\nJoining Wieland’s team gives you…\nBenefits - Starting on Day 1!
