The CDL Truck Driver will be responsible for responsible for operating company trucks and assisting with overall warehouse operations, including receiving incoming material, processing products, maintaining inventory, and packing outgoing material. This role is located in San Antonio, TX and will be fully on-site.\nStarting Pay:$24.00/hr\nSchedule:Monday-Friday 6am-3pm CST\nResponsibilities\nCDL Truck Driver Responsibilities:\nOperate company-assigned vehicle to pick up and deliver orders and inventory\nObey all traffic laws and follow established transportation procedures\nReport any vehicle/mechanical issues to management immediately\nDo not operate vehicle prior to pre-check inspection and clearance\nAdhere to all company and DOT safety procedures and guidelines\nSecure cargo and properly arrange product to avoid damage\nLoad and unload orders and inventory from vehicle\nMaintain paperwork and receipts from deliveries\nCommunicate and coordinate with dispatchers\nComply with all federal and state regulations\nMaintain detailed log of working hours\nComplete long-distance deliveries (5 hour each way)\nMaintain cleanliness of vehicle\nAdditional responsibilities include (but not limited to) the following:\nAssist in reviewing incoming shipping documents and update inventory\nAssist in reviewing outgoing shipping documents and package product\nAssist in inspecting inventory and product orders for accuracy/quality\nCreate and maintain a safe, organized working environment\nReport product discrepancies/damage to management\nActively communicate with teammates\nOperate forklift(s) to move material\nOther Operations tasks as assigned\nMust be able to wear task appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)\n\nCDL Truck Driver Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\nAt least 5-year prior CDL/truck driving experience\nHave a Class B Commercial Driver's License\nClean driving record\nValid Commercial Driver´s License\nStrong attention to detail (critical skill)\nFamiliarity with using GPS and/or Maps\nHand-eye coordination for driving purposes\nVisual and hearing acuity for driving purposes\nAbility to work and/or stay out of town as needed\nWillingness to submit to DOT random drug testing\nAbility to work flexible hours as required by the position\nAbility to drive safely, irrespective of weather or time of day\nAbility to communicate professionally with customers, coworkers and management\nAbility to work as part of a team and offer assistance to teammates when necessary\nUnderstanding of manufacturing industries preferred\nQualifications\nJoining Wieland’s team gives you…\nBenefits - Including Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Life & more!\n Retirement Savings - 401(k) contribution + match.\nWork/Life Balance - Paid Vacation & Holidays.\nGrowth Opportunities - We have over 9,000+ employees worldwide and 40+ locations in North America alone.
