The Machine Operator will be responsible for machine operation and product quality while also assisting with overall warehouse operations as needed. This role is located in Texas City, TX and will be fully on-site.\nStarting Pay: $20.00 per hour\nShift Differential: $1.25\nSchedule: Monday- Friday 2nd shift (2:45 pm - 11:15 pm)\nPay: Weekly\nResponsibilities\nMachine OperatorResponsibilities:\nCreate and maintain a safe, organized, and clean working environment.\nResponsible for the set-up, process, and maintenance of CNC Machines.\nMachine Material into finished product at varying tolerances.\nOperate machinery in a safe manner to ensure quality product.\nInspect material before and after operation for imperfections.\nLoad and unload product from the machinery for processing.\nAssemble, rebuild, setup, maintain, and operate equipment.Cranes, forklifts, hand tools, etc.\n\nInspect inventory and product orders for accuracy.\nReport product discrepancies to management.\nPerform all applicable SOP’s, JSA’s, and QAP’s.\nActively communicate with teammates.\nOperate forklifts to move material.\nOther Operations tasks as assigned.\nMachine Operator Qualifications:\nAbility to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.\nStrong attention to detail (critical skill).\nAbility to read, write, and communicate in English.\nAbility to communicate professionally with all departments, coworkers and management.\nAbility to work as part of a team and offer assistance to teammates when necessary.\nAbility to work occasional Saturday hours as required by the position.\nAbility to work in warehouse environment with varying temperatures.\nAbility to perform basic mathematical calculations.\nAbility to read dimensioned engineering drawings.\nAbility to read a tape measure and calipers.\nLift, push, pull up to 50 pounds\nStanding, walking up to 10 hours\nTwisting, bending up to 10 hours\nPerform duties under pressure of deadlines\nMust be able to wear task-appropriate PP\nMachine Operator Education/Experience\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\n1 to 4 years of machining experience\nMechanical/maintenance skills a plus\nUnderstanding of machining principles\nUnderstanding of CNC controls (preferred)\nUnderstanding of manufacturing industries\nExperience in machining industry (preferred)\nQualifications\nJoining Wieland’s team gives you…\nBenefits - Starting on Day 1!
