Assist in all facets of the assembly and manufacturing of commercial and industrial HVAC heat exchangers. Our facility is located at 45 Sutton Road | Verona, VA | 24482.\nStarting Pay: $24 - $28 per hour, with compensation adjusted based on experience and qualifications.\nShift Schedule: Monday - Thursday |6:00am-4:30pm\nAt Wieland, we recognize that attracting the best talent is key to our strategy and success as a company. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be based upon various factors unique to each individual that may include but are not limited to years of experience, industry knowledge, technical skills, education, qualifications, etc.\nResponsibilities\nProduction Assembler Responsibilities:\nRead, interpret, understand and work from mechanical prints, schematics, bills of material, routing sheets, and other written, electronic or verbal instructions.\nWork with a variety of raw and synthetic materials, processes, safety and quality assurance.\nOperate various tools and equipment to assemble, paint, braze, test, handle, manipulate and move components, assemblies and final product.\nUse measuring and testing devices as well as visual inspection to ensure quality of product and conformity of prints, work instructions and standards.\nMaintain required miscellaneous records.\nProduction Assemblers Qualifications:\n2+ years of previous experience in an industrial environment preferred.\nPower industrial Truck license and usage will be required.\nPerform work in various physical positions including standing, kneeling, bending, stooping, reaching and may frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.\nPerforming work in a medium industrial setting with exposure to heat, cold, humidity, industrial odors, fumes, gases, chemicals, oil, grease, smoke, dust, noise, vibration, climbing ladders/stairs and working in cramped quarters.\nAbility to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) requirement, including hearing protection, safety eyewear, safety footwear, face shield, and respirator if required.\nClose vision, distant vision, color vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus and hand-eye coordination.\nSteadiness of arms and hands and make coordinated movements.\nAbility to read text, process and understand its meaning.\nAble to gather and retrieve information effectively.\nMechanical knowledge of machines/tools and their uses and maintenance.\nQualifications\nJoining Wieland’s team gives you…\nBenefits - Including Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Life & more!\nSteel toed Boot Reimbursement\n Retirement Savings - 401(k) contribution + match.\nWork/Life Balance - Paid Vacation & Holidays.\nGrowth Opportunities - We have over 9,000+ employees worldwide and 40+ locations in North America alone.
