The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing the plant’s end-to-end supply chain activities to ensure the timely and cost-effective flow of materials from suppliers through production and to customers. This role oversees production planning, material planning, purchasing, inventory management, logistics, and supplier performance while partnering closely with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Finance, and Sales to balance customer demand, production capacity, inventory, cost and service requirements. This role is located in Verona, VA and will be fully on-site.\nBase Salary Range: $88,000- $110,000 per year.\nMay be eligible for a variable compensation plan bonus based upon company performance within fiscal year cycle. \nAt Wieland, we recognize that attracting the best talent is key to our strategy and success as a company. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be based upon various factors unique to each individual that may include but are not limited to years of experience, industry knowledge, technical skills, education, qualifications, etc.\nResponsibilities\nSupply Chain ManagerResponsibilities:\nEstablish inventory strategies that balance material availability, customer service, and working capital.\nIdentify and mitigate supply chain risks, including material shortages, supplier issues, and capacity constraints.\nDrive continuous improvement, cost reduction, process optimization, and Lean initiatives across the supply chain.\nEstablish and monitor key performance metrics and hold the organization accountable for results.\nLead and develop the Planning, Procurement, Warehouse, and Logistics teams.\nOversee production planning, scheduling, MRP, and material availability to support customer and production requirements.\nManage procurement activities and supplier performance, including cost, quality, delivery, and lead times.\nDirect warehouse operations, inventory control, material flow, receiving, and shipping.\nManage inbound and outbound logistics, transportation, freight costs, and customer delivery performance.\nPartner cross-functionally to align supply chain activities with plant and business objectives.\nSupply Chain ManagerKey Performance Indicators:\nSafety performance\nProduction schedule attainment\nPlanning accuracy and material availability\nSupplier on-time delivery, quality, lead time reduction\nInventory accuracy and turns\nFreight and supply chain costs\nWorking capital\nQuality Manager Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management or related field strongly preferred.\n5-plus years of progressive supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.\nProven leadership experience across planning, procurement, warehouse and logistics.\nStrong MRP/ERP, inventory management, supplier management, and Lean/continuous improvement experience\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication and leadership skills\nQualifications\nJoining Wieland’s team gives you…\nBenefits - Starting on Day 1!
