We even offer Pay As You Go and flexible contracts, so customers only pay for what they need without hefty penalties or long contract terms.\nWe take the complexity out of connectivity.\nThe Opportunity:\nIn this role, you will play a key part in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, with responsibility for monthly management accounts, revenue recognition and balance sheet control.\nYou will provide clear insight into financial performance, explain key variances and work with stakeholders across the business to understand commercial and operational drivers.\nYou will also support the annual external audit and help strengthen finance processes, controls, systems and reporting.\nKey Areas of Focus:\nThe finance team is responsible for robust period-end reporting, financial control and commercial insight, supporting informed decision-making across the business.\nYour day-to-day role will consist of the following responsibilities:\nSupport the preparation of accurate monthly management accounts, including the preparation, review and posting of journals.\nOwn the monthly revenue recognition process, reviewing project and contract data, accrued and deferred revenue, associated gross margin and resolving discrepancies.\nReview overhead, revenue and gross margin variances, providing clear explanations and insight into project profitability.\nPrepare monthly balance sheet and control account reconciliations, working closely with the accounts receivable and accounts payable teams.\nSupport VAT return preparation and ensure reconciling differences are investigated and resolved.\nMaintain the fixed asset register and ensure depreciation is calculated and posted each month.\nSupport the annual external audit by preparing schedules and evidence, responding to queries and coordinating business inputs.\nProvide business partnering support and concise analysis to help stakeholders make informed commercial and financial decisions.\nSupport effective finance systems and maximise automation opportunities for project accounting and reporting.\nDeliver agreed objectives, support the finance team during peak periods and undertake other duties aligned to the scope and level of the role.\nAbout you:\n You will be a strong communicator with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively across financial and non-financial teams. You will enjoy working with large volumes of data, think analytically and take a hands-on, results-focused approach while meeting tight deadlines.\nEssential:\nQualified accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA).\nExperience of month-end processing, management accounts and reporting activities.\nStrong understanding of accounting principles and financial control, including balance sheet reconciliations.\nExperience of business partnering with financial and non-financial stakeholders.\nAdvanced Excel skills and confidence working with large volumes of data.\nDesirable:\nExperience of Access Financials.\nExperience in the IT or telecommunications sector.\nExperience of working in a private equity-backed business.\nExperience of working in an SME environment.\nWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including an enhanced annual leave scheme with additional holiday entitlement awarded through length of service, alongside a remote-first working environment that gives our employees greater flexibility and supports a healthy work-life balance.
