This position is responsible for accurate payroll processing, general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, and financial reporting support. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and committed to accuracy and confidentiality.\nESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES\nPayroll AdministrationProcess bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time.\nReview timesheets, payroll deductions, benefits, garnishments, and tax withholdings.\nRespond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies.\n\nGeneral Ledger AccountingPrepare and post journal entries.\nReconcile bank accounts, payroll accounts, and balance sheet accounts.\nAssist with month-end and year-end closing processes.\nMaintain and analyze general ledger activity.\nAssist with audits and provide supporting documentation.\n\nAccounts & Financial SupportSupport accounts payable and accounts receivable activities as needed.\nMaintain accurate accounting records and documentation.\nAssist with special projects and continuous process improvements.\n\nBACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE EXPECTATIONS:\nAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.\n3+ years of payroll and accounting experience.\nWorking knowledge of payroll laws and accounting principles.\nExperience with accounting software and payroll systems.\nStrong Microsoft Excel skills.\nExceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.\nAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.\nExperience with construction, professional services, or project-based accounting environments a plus.\nSalary Range: $60,000 - $80,000.
