Preconstruction Interns have numerous opportunities to network with professionals and interns from all the various departments. The relationships forged during an internship can last the duration of a career!\nKey Responsibilities:\nAssisting the preconstruction team with data entry and document organization.\nSupporting construction schedule development and updates for upcoming projects.\nHelping to create phasing and logistics plans.\nConducting comprehensive plan reviews to identify scopes of work.\nAssist estimators in compiling project budgets, value engineering options, and cost comparison reports\nAssisting in the development of detailed scope sheets for various bid packages.\nRequirements:\nCurrent student pursuing a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.\nStrong communication skills\nAdequate transportation to report to job sites as needed\nBasic understanding of construction materials and methods\nGood organization and computer skills\nOpenness to learn and have fun\nSalary Range: $20 - $25/hr.
