This role ensures that production processes comply with specifications and supports root cause analysis and corrective actions. The QC Technician plays a key role in maintaining product consistency, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nPerform in-process and final product testing according to established specifications and test methods\nInspect raw materials and batch samples to verify conformity prior to use or release\nMaintain accurate and timely documentation of all testing, results, and certifications\nCalibrate and maintain laboratory equipment in compliance with internal procedures\nSupport Operations in addressing product quality issues and investigating non-conformances\nCommunicate testing results and release decisions to Production Managers and Site Leaders\nAssist in identifying quality trends and recommending improvements\nComply with all safety, environmental, and regulatory protocols related to lab and production work\nOther duties assigned by management\n\nKey Deliverables:\n100% completion of required testing with accurate and documented results\nTimely release of batches with no avoidable delays due to QC bottlenecks\nZero quality-related customer complaints from released product\nLab and equipment compliance with internal audit standards\n\nReporting Structure:\nReports To: QC Team Leader/Site Leader\nDirect Reports: None\n\nEducational Requirements:\nAssociate’s degree in Chemistry, Laboratory Science, or related field (preferred)\nHigh school diploma or GED (required)\n\nRequired Experience:\n2–4 years of quality control or lab testing experience in a manufacturing or process-driven environment\nFamiliarity with lab instrumentation and techniques such as viscosity, pH, color matching, etc.\nKnowledge of quality systems, documentation practices, and non-conformance handling\nHigh attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment\n\nWorking Conditions:\nManufacturing environment\n\nEffort/Physical Demands:\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.\nAbility to sit and stand for long periods of time.\n\nHealth & Safety Responsibilities:\nMust work in accordance with Health & Safety regulations, Company Rules, Plant Rules, policies and procedures.\nMust use or wear equipment, protective devices, or certain clothing as required by the company.\n\nBenefits:\nCompetitive pay and overtime opportunities\nHealth, dental, and vision insurance\nPaid time off and holidays\n401(k) \nEmployee Stock Ownership Plan \nCareer development and training opportunities\nClean, safe, and team-oriented work environment\n\nThis position contributes to a quality product by ensuring overall compliance to defined Product Specifications, the Quality Management System, and the Quality Policy.
