The role will work closely with the IT team to collect and organize security evidence, document existing processes, and prepare first drafts of policies, procedures, and other cybersecurity documentation.\nThis position is not primarily focused on penetration testing or security operations. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with technical information, and able to turn technical processes into clear documentation. Responsible to role model our Core Values at all times.\nEssential Position Functions and Responsibilities:\nGather and organize cybersecurity compliance evidence such as screenshots, reports, exports, system configurations, and supporting documentation.\n\nMaintain organized records of security controls, evidence, policies, procedures, and related documentation.\n\nAssist with evidence collection for cybersecurity frameworks, audits, assessments, cyber insurance requirements, and customer security questionnaires.\n\nPrepare initial drafts of cybersecurity policies, standards, procedures, and process documentation for IT leadership review.\n\nDocument existing IT and cybersecurity processes by interviewing team members and reviewing system configurations.\n\nHelp map existing security practices and evidence to applicable cybersecurity or compliance requirements.\n\nTrack outstanding documentation and evidence requests and follow up with appropriate team members.\n\nAssist with maintaining asset inventories, system documentation, security-related spreadsheets, and other records.\n\nPerform basic research related to cybersecurity controls, industry standards, and documentation requirements.\n\nSupport other cybersecurity, IT governance, and compliance initiatives as needed.\n\nOther duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor.\n\nRequirements\nCritical Core Competencies and Skills:\nStrong written communication, documentation and problem-solving skills.\n\nWillingness to learn in a dynamic environment and support a wide range of IT tasks.\n\nAbility to handle multiple priorities and provide excellent customer service.\n\nBasic understanding of IT and cybersecurity concepts.\n\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\n\nAbility to work independently, ask questions, and follow established processes.\n\nAbility to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.\n\nMinimum Education and Experience:\nCurrently pursuing or recently completed coursework in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.\n\nPreferred Education and Experience:\nFamiliarity with cybersecurity frameworks or standards such as NIST, CIS Controls, PCI DSS, or similar frameworks.\n\nExperience with Microsoft 365 or other business technology platforms.\n\nFamiliarity with cybersecurity concepts such as identity and access management, endpoint security, vulnerability management, backups, firewalls, and security monitoring.\n\nPrevious IT, help desk, cybersecurity, or compliance experience through employment, coursework, labs, or personal projects.\n\nLicenses, Certifications and/or Registrations:\nEquipment and Software Requirements:\nBasic understanding of Windows operating systems, networking principles, and Microsoft Office applications.\n\nComfortable working with Microsoft Office
