You'll build the agents themselves as well as the platform behind them: skills, workflows, tools, connectors, orchestration, observability and the infrastructure that makes AI reliable, fast and measurable in production.\nThis is a hands-on product engineering role for someone who wants to build real AI products, not just integrate AI APIs.\nWhat You Will Do\nBuild and ship AI agent features end to end- from Node.js/TypeScript services on AWS to the interfaces used to configure, test and observe agents.\nExtend the AI agent platform- building skills, workflows, sandboxes, tools, connectors, tracing, audit and orchestration capabilities.\nIntegrate and orchestrate AI providers- LLM, STT and TTS - using prompt and context engineering, tool calling, structured outputs, streaming and robust failure handling.\nMake AI quality measurable and production-ready- build evaluations, tracing and monitoring while engineering for latency, reliability, cost, privacy and security.\nDrive product discovery and ownership- challenge scope, propose solutions, bring your own ideas and stay involved after release by using quality and adoption signals to iterate.\nRaise the engineering barthrough code reviews, architecture decisions, knowledge sharing and collaboration across the AI Agents stream.\nWhat You Will Bring\n5+ years of commercial software engineering experience, with strong JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js backend skills and confidence working across the frontend with React or equivalent.\nHands-on experience building and shipping LLM-powered features used by real users in production.You should be able to explain what you built, how it worked and the engineering decisions behind it.\nPractical experience with AI application patternsincluding prompt and context engineering, tool/function calling, structured outputs, RAG, streaming and handling non-deterministic behaviour in production.\nExperience making AI systems measurable and observablethrough evaluations, tracing, monitoring and regression detection.\nStrong production AWS experiencewith serverless and/or containerized environments.
