looking for an experienced, versatile, and motivated IT Systems & Infrastructure Engineer to join our team and help manage, maintain, and improve our global IT environment.\nThis is a hands-on position with a broad range of responsibilities, including cloud infrastructure, Linux and Windows systems, networking, cybersecurity, business applications, software integrations, and employee IT and a collaborative, service-oriented approach to their work.\nWhat You'll Do\nIT Infrastructure & Cloud Operations\nMaintain, monitor, and improve our AWS cloud infrastructure, Linux and Windows systems, networking, and related services.\nTroubleshoot technical issues, optimize system performance, and proactively identify opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency.\nManage software installations, server updates, system configurations, backups, and disaster recovery procedures.\nSupport Docker-based applications, deployment workflows, and infrastructure automation.\nParticipate in planning, evaluating, and implementing new infrastructure technologies and services.\nDevelop and maintain technical documentation, operating procedures, and system architecture information.\nProgressively assume ownership of infrastructure systems and projects as you become familiar with our environment.\nBusiness Applications & Integrations\nSupport the business systems that power our operations, including eCommerce, ERP, CRM, CMS, and associated databases.\nAdminister and troubleshoot services such as NetSuite, Google Workspace, email, Zoom, Slack, Git, and other business applications.\nWork with internal teams to understand business needs, resolve technical issues, and improve application integrations.\nMaintain and enhance backend services, APIs, scripts, and automation tools.\nCollaborate with developers and business stakeholders to implement reliable and practical technical solutions.\nCybersecurity & Data Protection\nHelp maintain a secure IT environment, protecting company systems, employee information, and customer data.\nImplement cybersecurity best practices, including patch management, system hardening, access controls, and vulnerability remediation.\nMonitor and investigate security concerns and participate in incident response activities.\nMaintain and improve security policies, backup strategies, recovery procedures, and business continuity plans.\nIdentify potential risks and recommend improvements to strengthen our overall security posture.\nEmployee IT Support\nProvide friendly, knowledgeable technical assistance to employees throughout the organization.\nTroubleshoot computers, email, networking, VoIP phones, and desktop or cloud-based applications.\nAssist with employee onboarding and offboarding, user accounts, access permissions, and equipment configuration.\nIdentify recurring issues and implement improvements that make technology more reliable and easier to use.\nTechnical Ownership & Growth\nWork closely with experienced IT leadership to develop a comprehensive understanding of our systems, architecture, and business requirements.\nTake increasing responsibility for managing infrastructure, resolving complex issues, and leading technical projects.\nParticipate in technology planning, architecture decisions, vendor evaluations, and long-term infrastructure improvements.\nHelp establish and maintain documentation and procedures that support reliable, sustainable IT operations.\nGrow toward independent ownership and leadership of the company's IT infrastructure and operations.\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequired Qualifications\n5+ years of hands-on experience in IT systems administration, infrastructure operations, cloud engineering, or a similar technical role.\nStrong practical experience administering and troubleshooting Linux and Windows systems.\nHands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and services.\nSolid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, VPNs, and related technologies.\nWorking knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, secure system administration, and data protection.\nExperience with scripting, automation, Docker, or deployment workflows.\nAbility to read, troubleshoot, and modify scripts or application code using languages such as Bash, Python, PHP, JavaScript, and similar technologies.\nExperience supporting business applications, databases, and system integrations.\nExperience with Linux based email infrastructure including Postfix, Cyrus IMAP, SMTP, and related protocols.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to investigate unfamiliar technical issues independently.\nExcellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills.\nAbility to balance competing priorities, work collaboratively, and take ownership of technical responsibilities.\nAdditional Skills & Experience\nWe expect experienced IT professionals to bring a broad range of technical skills. Familiarity with several of the following technologies and environments is highly desirable, although expertise in every area is not required:\nNetSuite administration, customization, or API integrations.\nAWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront, Route 53, Lambda, and IAM.\nSQL (Postgres, etc) or other relational database systems.\nWeb server technologies such as Apache, Nginx, and PHP.\nGit, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.\nREST APIs and custom business application integrations.\nExperience planning or leading infrastructure projects.\nExperience supporting a small or midsize company's diverse IT environment.\nCompensation & Benefits\nSalary: $115,000 -
