The Coordinator, Strategic Content Development provides reporting, coordination, administrative, and analytical support to the Strategic Content Development (SCD) team, a group of Content Acquisition Specialists, Content Development Specialists, and Editor Experience Specialists, contributing to the overall achievement of content growth and editor lifecycle objectives. The ideal candidate will be professional, motivated, and detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and communication skills and an interest in improving workflows and processes to advance business objectives.\nHow will you make an impact:\nReporting and Data Analysis\nPrepare SCA monthly/quarterly/annual performance reports and ad hoc data analysis reports \nGenerate and distribute monthly communications and deadline reminders to team members \nIdentify journals with active SI programs but without updated submissions/acceptances in the current quarter and follow up with SCA leads \nConfigure and organize SI submission reports, with special attention to journals without a PRP Lead \nMaintain data quality in Curate and other relevant systems, and communicate data requirements to team members \nTrack and report on cross-journal collections \nTeam Coordination and Administration\nArrange team meetings, training sessions for new hires, and team-building sessions \nCoordinate and support transfers, contact updates, and system access requests for team members \nUpdate and maintain the SCA Teams channel and SharePoint sites \nUpdate the team organizational chart and track engagement activities \nProject Management Support\nSupport Project Leads in tracking project timelines, updating project status, and uploading project deliverables \nAssist with project coordination, including tracking active projects and time allocation \nMonitor workflows and processes and suggest improvements to increase team efficiency \nSI Management, Content Commissioning,and Editor Recruitment Support\nProvide support to Content Acquisition/Development Specialistsand Managers, as well as Editor Experience Managers,to expedite processes and deliver designated outcomes. \nConduct analyses of published SI performance at the subjectand portfolio levels\nSupport editor recruitment through data analysis and candidate identification.\nFollow up with relevant internal teams on routine tasks \nProvideinterim cover for Content Acquisition/Development Specialistsand Managers on tasks such as launching SIs, preparing author lists, and updating SI numbers. \nCollaborate with Editor Experience Managers to ensure the effectiveness of services across editor recruitment activities.\n\nWhat we look for:\nAt least a bachelor’s degree; candidates must be computer-literate and proficient in Microsoft Office applications \nGood data analysis skills; proficiency in advanced Excel is preferred \nExcellent attention to detail and desire to work within and support a busy team \nDemonstrated organizational and time-management skills are essential, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously \nPrevious experience in a publishing or administrative position is preferred but not necessary \nAptitude for learning in-house company systems and AI tools, and understanding of office procedures \nA professional, mature, and decisive approach \nThe ability to work under pressure with a strong focus on team support, both individually and as part of a team \nExcellent communication skills in a global environment \nWe power infinite possibilities.\nFor more than 200 years, we've transformed knowledge into discoveries that shape the world.
