In this role, you will help build engaging, accessible, and scalable digital learning and assessment experiences that support learners around the world and turn complex problems into intuitive solutions. \nYou will work closely with product managers, designers, architects, and engineers to deliver high-quality features that improve the learner and customer experience. This role reports to an Engineering Manager within the Assessments Technology organization. You will also have opportunities to influence technical decisions, support product direction, and contribute to the future of educational technology. \nJob Responsibilities:\nDesign and build modern, responsive user experiences using React and contemporary front-end development practices. \nCreate intuitive, accessible, and high-performing interfaces that delight learners and customers. \nCollaborate closely with Product, UX, and Engineering teams to transform ideas into impactful features. \nOwn features from concept through deployment, taking a full lifecycle approach to development. \nLeverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and software quality. \nParticipate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and contribute to a highly collaborative engineering culture. \nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. \nAdvanced proficiency building modern web applications with React, JavaScript/JS, TypeScript/TS, HTML, and CSS. \n2+ years of experience working with back-end technologies such as .NET/C# or similar server-side frameworks. \nExperience with cloud and container technologies such as AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes. \nExperience with relational or document databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, or similar technologies. \n1+ year of experience contributing to DevOps practices, including deployment automation, monitoring, or infrastructure support\nIntermediate proficiency with modern engineering tools and practices such as GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and cloud-based architectures. \nStrong working knowledge of high-quality development practices, including unit testing, automated testing, code reviews, and coding standards. \nFamiliarity using AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, code quality, or delivery speed. \nAdvanced communication skills and a collaborative mindset. \nAdvanced ability to translate business requirements and user needs into clear technical solutions. \nStrong commitment to creating exceptional user experiences and solving customer problems through thoughtful design and engineering. \nIntermediate proficiency working in Agile environments and partnering closely with cross-functional teams. \nAdvanced English communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with an international team. \nWe power infinite possibilities.\nFor more than 200 years, we've transformed knowledge into discoveries that shape the world.
