This role also provides technical leadership, mentors team members, and contributes to the continuous improvement of engineering practices and technologies.\nHow You Will Make an Impact\nApplication Design & Development\nDesign, develop, and release scalable applications and systems that improve customer learning and engagement experiences.\nTranslate high-level architectural concepts into detailed technical designs that are clearly understood and implemented by development teams.\nBuild robust, maintainable software solutions that support business objectives and customer needs.\nTechnical Leadership\nServe as a technical leader within the engineering team, providing guidance on design decisions, architecture, and development best practices.\nMentor and coach junior engineers, helping to elevate technical capabilities across the team.\nDrive technical excellence through knowledge sharing, collaboration, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nSystem Ownership & Delivery\nTake ownership of services and systems throughout the entire software development lifecycle.\nPartner with cross-functional teams to design, build, deploy, monitor, and support solutions in production environments.\nEvaluate, recommend, and implement technologies that improve scalability, reliability, and maintainability.\nCode Quality & Engineering Excellence\nEstablish and maintain code repository structures, branching strategies, and development standards.\nConduct thorough code reviews and champion clean, maintainable, and high-quality code.\nPromote engineering best practices including test-driven development, automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nCollaborate closely with Product, Data Engineering, Data Science, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and other specialized teams.\nContribute effectively within multidisciplinary Agile teams to deliver business and customer value.\nCommunicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nInnovation & Continuous Improvement\nDrive innovation by exploring and implementing new tools, technologies, and engineering approaches.\nLead technical initiatives that improve platform performance, scalability, and customer experience.\nContribute to strategic technology decisions that support long-term business objectives.\nWhat We Look For\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.\n6+ years of professional software development experience.\nProven experience serving as a technical lead or senior engineer within a software engineering team.\nStrong proficiency in C#/.NET development.\nExpert understanding of object-oriented design principles, software architecture, and system design.\nExperience building and consuming web APIs and microservices-based architectures.\nExperience working with cloud-based services and containerization technologies such as Docker.\nStrong knowledge of relational and/or non-relational database technologies.\nExperience with Agile software development methodologies and DevOps practices.\nHands-on experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.\nExperience with automated testing and test-driven development (TDD).\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nDemonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience working within multidisciplinary product and engineering organizations.\nKnowledge of modern cloud-native application architectures.\nExperience supporting large-scale, customer-facing applications.\nTrack record of successfully leading technical initiatives and driving engineering innovation.\nPassion for mentoring and developing engineering talent\nWe power infinite possibilities.\nFor more than 200 years, we've transformed knowledge into discoveries that shape the world.
