In this role, you will identify new opportunities, build relationships with key maritime stakeholders, prepare commercial proposals and tenders, and coordinate closely with internal teams to secure and develop new business opportunities.\nThis is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys combining market intelligence, customer engagement, and commercial execution in a dynamic international environment.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nBusiness Development & Customer Engagement\nIdentify and develop new business opportunities within the newbuilding supervision market.\n\nBuild and maintain relationships with shipowners, investors, leasing companies, shipyards, and other industry stakeholders.\n\nParticipate in customer meetings, presentations, exhibitions, and industry events.\n\nConduct regular customer engagement activities to strengthen relationships and identify future opportunities.\n\nDevelop professional networks within shipyards to facilitate effective collaboration between owners and shipyards.\n\nMarket Intelligence & Opportunity Development\nMonitor global newbuilding activities, fleet expansion plans, leasing developments, and shipyard trends.\n\nTrack industry developments and identify potential business opportunities.\n\nMaintain and develop a database of target customers, projects, and market insights.\n\nProvide market intelligence and competitor analysis to support commercial strategies.\n\nCommercial Proposals & Tender Management\nPrepare and coordinate customer proposals, tenders, presentations, and commercial submissions.\n\nWork closely with cross-functional teams to gather and consolidate proposal inputs.\n\nManage submission timelines and ensure high-quality, timely delivery of customer proposals.\n\nSupport clarification meetings, customer follow-ups, and post-submission activities.\n\nContinuously improve proposal templates and commercial materials.\n\nCRM & Internal Coordination\nMaintain accurate customer and opportunity records within CRM systems.\n\nSupport sales pipeline reporting, forecasting, and opportunity tracking.\n\nCoordinate customer handovers from contract award through project commencement.\n\nCollaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely responses to customer requirements.\n\nWho We're Looking For\nBachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or Nautical Science.\n\nPostgraduate qualification in Business Administration, Management, or a related field from a reputable university is an advantage.\n\nStrong commercial mindset with a passion for customer engagement and business development.\n\nExcellent communication, presentation, networking, and stakeholder management skills.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.\n\nProactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.\n\nProficient in Microsoft Office applications.\n\nFluent in written and spoken English.\n\nWillingness to travel internationally as required.\n\nWhy Join Us?\nAt Wilhelmsen Ship Management, you'll be part of a global maritime organization that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
